Something I and many others have been saying for years...only capable of winning in clear air.

As for Leclerc needing to give more room, what a load of horsesh*t; he was ahead, he held his line, kept his wheel straight and respectfully raced another competitor. You can’t control what the other driver is going to do, and Seb went and done it to himself.

Wrong. They penalize drivers all the time for the same kind of contact Hamilton caused with Albon. They won’t with Hamilton though.

Bring sainz in and kick Lewis out already.....

Vettel moved over to Leclerc. Vettel had enough room. Vettel's mistake -- or revenge?

Because pit stops are exciting. The fans love to see pit stops and also the wheel busters should get their moment of glory. :p

(Actual opinions expressed in this forum. Not mine, obviously).

Vettel was fortunate to be at Red Bull during a dominant period. He has had a good enough chance at Ferrari to win the title, but hasn't delivered. Schui probably could have won two titles during Seb's time at Ferrari by simply not making boneheaded mistakes alone, not to mention mental strength under pressure.

At least I can turn this crap off and tune to motorcycle road racing in the wet on CBS Sports and then the NHRA finale from Pomona a little later. F1 as a whole and Ferrari in particular have thrown away their credibility. Stupid rules and even more stupid driving.

If you have been paying attention, I made the call when he was still at RB. He has serious brain damage.

The issue of course, is did Albon leave a wide hole open, which it looked like. When he came back to the apex, Lewis had already tucked in and locked up when Albon was making his turn in. I think regardless of Lewis taking fault, they won’t penalize him.

Bull. Front wing to rear tire is “avoidable contact”. Just because the door is open, doesn’t mean he’s entitled to make contact.

Binotto has been backing the wrong horse all season.
He has repeatedly tried to justify his choice, but it's time do draw conclusions.
Vettel is passed it as a Number One, and he is hampering both Leclerc's career, and Ferrari's progression.
If Binotto persists next year in his heresy, his position should be called into question, IMO.

Not wrong. The rules give a very clear definition of "alongside".

Penalties are a matter of opinion, but the rules give a very clear definition of "alongside".

they would be better off doing a red bull move and shunting vettel to alfa and bring raikonen back to ferrari fro the last race.

A Honda 1-2-3 probably, when was the last time ?

    Probably first time, I guess.

And I wonder what Fernando has to say about that.
