I think both 308's and 328's are gorgious in their own way, but I feel their individual characteristics don't mix very well ..... This pic reminds me of a pretty girl with a mustache, somehow. Anyone agrees?

Never liked the black grills....the grill are not a great attribute, so why paint them in a contrasting color....just highlights a less than interesting visual of the car.

Agreed. Too many grilles - the heavy eggcrate 328 front end and dark 308 QV hood louvres are kinda fighting each other. Plus the scuderia shields make it even busier. There are better ways to waste money on a 3x8...

I agree....When I look at a “normal” 328 my eyes are drawn to the over all smooth lines of the car….In the picture above your eyes immediately focus on the black slots....Not sure why someone would do that to a beautiful 328....I wonder if this was some European option? Bizzare

Of course, different... but nothing ugly I think. Just look at the car itself, forget what you know about models,.... good looking car..IMO

No no, saw it 'in the flesh', not very well visible in the pic but as the door handles indicate, it's a 308 that was - rather elabourately- modified to 328-looks. Imagine the mod's one must make to the lower front valance in order to adapt it to the nose-clip. Saw it 2 years ago, a year later it was for sale.
Heaven knows where it went, waste of a pretty 308 I think.

I agree, that doesn't work. However, somewhere on here there is a pic of a gold 308 with a the vented hood from a 328 and it looks great.

I have always thought that the 328 front end gave the car a "bulldog that chased a parked car too often" look to it. I personally prefer the pointed look that the valence, grill, & bumper gave the 308. It just seemed sexier. Not that a 328 isn't sexy, I just feel that the 308 is sexier looking.

If I had my way, I'd do just the opposite that this person did. I want to either put a 328 engine in a 308 (best engine with the best looking car...IMHO) or put the front grill, bumper, & valence & hood from a 308 on a 328. The latter would probably be easier but.......

Apparently, I saw this exact conversion on a black 308 in Seattle around U. district. I thought it looked great.

Are there any 328's with 308 nose conversions?

For all you know the pic above is a 328 with the QV front hood. Is the rear also has the 328 bumper?

Be difficult. The whole reason for the nose redesign was to put in a much bigger radiator and move a lot more air through it.
