You gotta feel for NO. Today there was a PI (offensive) which I thought was marginal and should not have have been called. The Saints challenged and lose the challenge. Then late in the game there was a non PI call on Saints defense. Rivera challenged for a PI and surprising they ended up ruling it PI. I thought that one was uncatchable and shouldn't have been called. I believe the referees got backwards on both plays.

There's a curse on the Saints with controversial PI calls/non-calls.

 

Yikes. Belichick and Brady won't be happy about that dropped pass

 

Yeah the second one really did look uncatchable...even if he did lose a half step still nowhere close to getting it imo.

 

Didn't see the first, but I agree with the second one. That was just playing the game.

I agree, that's what I thought too. If the ball was still on the QBs hands then it is a penalty, illegal contact. But it was in the air, and nowhere near catchable.

 

This game is quite the tight finish. Some life left for the Boys still!

 

Let's see if the refs can stay out of this one

 

Rather than anticipate how the Boys can drive down and win, I've now been conditioned to anticipate how the Patriots will benefit from something bogus late in a close game that seals a win for them.

And, I'm not alone with that thought process.

When are the other teams going to understand that they have to cheat to win, either that or prepare better, coach better, scheme better and play better.

 

It never fails. Today's game is just another added to a long list.

 

It is difficult to score when, after you gain a first down, legally, the referees decide to call a phantom tripping cal that kills your drive and forces you to punt.
