In the market for a 458 and making sure I understand the complimentary service correctly. I’ve searched, with no luck. Wondering if the complimentary annual service can be used all the way up to the 7 year point, including right before expiration? Meaning if a car had a hypothetical in-service date of 1/1/15, would the last complimentary annual be performed on 12/30/21 assuming its within the window of 1 year +\- 2 months from the last annual service? For some reason I was under the impression they wouldn’t do a complimentary annual right before expiration. Thanks for the help.

my in service date was november 2011 and my last complimentary service was 11/2018. you are basically talking about an oil change.

Exactly what I was curious about, thanks.

And yeah, agree, not a ton of value.

yeh i think a lot of people interpreted it as 7 year warranty which it isn't.

True. Ferrari knows most people don’t rack up the miles. For the few that do it could be a good amount of savings.

Not following… When it’s free everybody will get the service even if they only drive 100 miles a year

Sure, once a year. If you exceed the mileage intervals you get more than one service per year.

Probably not if the nearest Ferrari dealer is 100+ miles away. That's the problem I face with my 458's 7yr maintenance service expiring at the end of Dec. Do I drive the car 200+ miles roundtrip just for this last service?

Perish the thought: you might enjoy the drive

Your car is far more use rotting in the garage as your contribution to preventing global warming........

It may just be an oil change but I got the privilege of paying $1800 for the annual service on my 720. Ouch. I’ll take the “free oil change” any day of the week.

Just had the last maintenance service on my 2013 FF. Technically expired a few days before service date but there isn’t a 30d grace period. Fluids and filters only. No charge.

I must admit I am totally surprised that Maclaren hasn't followed. Now if Ferrari could follow Hyundai and give 7 years free warrantee :)

Before 10am or after 3pm, that 100mi each way would be about a 2 1/2-3hr drive because of how bad traffic is during commute hours. So if your idea of an enjoyable drive is crawling along (when moving) at under 40mph, then more power to you. Not my idea of fun in any car let alone a 458 Italia!

My service drive is mostly 80-100 mph for at least 300 miles with bursts above that
