That's coming back...T
Doubt it. It's a mediocre team (Dallas) once again struggling against a good team. That's nothing new this year, unfortunately...T
Wow Dallas having trouble with teams above .500 Today they looked disinterested, and flat out unprepared / not ready.
Why wouldn't Dan Quinn go for it??? Your season is over, it's 4th and 7 at the NO 39 yard line, what does he have to lose???
DAL had two turnovers. BUF none. All the other stats were pretty close. That was the difference in the game. But I have to say BUF is well coached. They don't ask players to do more than their talent allows. They seem to be up for every game. No hot dog lime light prima donna stars. No Zekes. Just good team play. They are leading the wild card by three games. Well deserved IMVHO. My guess is DAL will have a totally new coaching staff in 2020. Probably the OK U coach Riley. He gets the most out his QBs. The further Mayfield gets away from Riley the worse he plays. If DAL does not take Riley CLE would be wise to get him. But DAL is arguably the best coaching job in the NFL (if you don't mind JJ having the potential to micro manage everything) while CLE has probably the worst owners in the NFL and maybe the worst weather in the US not counting BUF.
3 perfect onsides kicks in a row. I thought onsides recovery was next to impossible this season? Sean Payton is a genius to not have taking the Cowboys' job. Despite the special teams miscues and dropped passes, the Saints are the first to qualify for the playoffs and look good to make it back to the NFC championship. It's close to a lost season for my Cowboys, the Eagles' ineptitude is the only saving grace. Jones would have fired Garrett already but the Dallas OC and DC suck equally. Waste of Cooper, Zeke and Dak in their prime. Fan of Josh Allen, turning out to be a good pick for Buffalo. They have no big ego superstars, play well as a team. Gore still going strong and their defense is ball hawking.
I think they said 2 out of 33 onside kicks worked before last night's game. I think Dallas is, like a lot of Garrett's teams, 0.500 or thereabouts. A lot of people got into their heads that they were more than that after 3 early wins over teams that have emerged as among the worst in NFL. Tank Lawrence has woefully underperformed after signing the big contract. Zeke's big contract will prove to be an albatross around their neck, esp. once Cooper and Dak need to get paid. Fire Garrett now and give Kris Richard an audition...T Edit - The good news is that they are playing in what is shaping up to be a horrendous division, so they have a good shot at getting into the playoffs!
Cowboys for the most part are incapable of beating a team with a winning record. Fortunately they face some losers down the stretch.
The 'Boys go to Chicago next Thursday. This past Thursday the Bears started the day with a losing record but now have a .500 record, while the Cowboys started the day with a winning record and now have a .500 record. So, crucial for both teams. The difference being after this Mediocrity Bowl, da Bearssss face Green Bay on the road, then host Kansas City and finish out the season up in Minny. You'll notice all those teams have a winning reocord. The schedule is not anywhere near as tough for JJ's "Squadra della Stella".
Phil...I hate to say it, but that's a silly question. If we've learned anything about this year's Boys, they're a finely tuned machine, a model of efficiency and preparation, all under the tutelage of our chosen one, Redhead Jesus. T
