For example; Clashing colors, absurd aftermarket mods, or just bad taste overall?
There's a black 488 Spider with a tan hood/engine cover in LA. I've seen it twice but never got a photo. It's absurdly ugly, and seemingly bone stock.
I think I saw a yellow stradale with red headlamps. That was a little rough. There was a yellow f430 spider on eBay recently with yellow leather. And a yellow 612 with a quirky interior. I'll have to see if I can find these again. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to off-the-wall specs - I really appreciate the willingness to step out there and do something totally different and 'unsafe.' Heck, you can even make bad colors look good for what they're trying to be if your thoughtful enough. Plus, definitely more fun than another standard combo. When I handled orders for a few years, I always thought interesting to work your whole life to get in the position to order a new Ferrari and the top concern is - what will the next guy think. Can't disregard resell, not suggesting that, but it'd be number two or three on the list.
Back in 2007, saw at my dealer a Red 599 with matching complete interior with dashboard, carpets, steering wheel, headliner and seats all in the same bright Red. I got a headache from just looking at it.
Not the worst but i cant stand the black roof/black wheels trend that has been going on for the past 5 years or so. Also the stripes..Most of them are terrible and just give the cars a cheap hotwheels look. I agree Yellow over red is terrible or yellow over tan.
There are obviously lots of crazy combinations, one off type, that are seen as obtrusive to say the least. The more common spec that I see that just turns me away is a red Ferrari with a beige interior and those ugly mustard carpets. Someone has to explain to me what’s attractive about that and why they don’t match the seats
Just to clarify it’s not the red car color or the beige seats – it’s those mustard carpets that should be done away with. I hope I’m not offending quite a number of owners out there – just not for me
Thanks for not mentioning my rosso corsa 360 with Bordeaux interior, lol...it was odd at first but I’ve gotten used to it The nice thing about these cars is it’s easy to swap out interiors or parts of them, for other colours, and no one would know. Back to the question, almost any car with a blue interior doesn’t work (for me).
Image Unavailable, Please Login Red/Yellow interiors can look great, I get nothing but compliments on mine.....I think having the black dashtop, black carpets, and lots of CF helps. OTOH, I hate mono-chromatic interiors where everything is one color, like black.....nothing more boring than that.
It's so funny, felt like everyone in the 2000s seemed to complain about Ferrari not having a hard-top convertible. One of the main arguments was that the cloth top broke the lines when up. Then, as soon as the 458 comes out, people started ordering black-painted roofs left and right. Lol Agree on the stripes too, too many out there, took the novelty away
I'm not going to the search, but in this forum we saw a California in an ugly color with a palomino-pony interior. A truly hideous car.

Don't mean to offend any owner, just my irrelevant personal opinion: Red with tan interior and yellow calipers, the boring "easy resale" spec Ok, flame suit on
