    The 275gtb started life as a standard three-carb car. I have the s/n but not at my fingertips. It is the silver gray car pictured in the "Original Ferrari V12" book, while it lived in the UK. Originally red, with black/red vinyl seats.

    original wood wheels were 400mm.
    most were MOMO. a few came with Walsal(sp?) wood wheels however they look identical.

    Plus it could have had the leather MOMO wheel.
    On a plexi car the MOMO was stamped on the back of the bottom spoke in a square.

    Grant, i think all euro daytonas had the wood wheel but i dont when the switch to leather started on euro cars.
    the USA cars always had leather starting with the Dec 1970 production. serial no. 139xx
    maybe euro cars switched to leather when the usa production started?

    Hey Chuck, I have a few more I think, I have to find them. Yes, it's hard to imagine, but I suppose my 250GT was the king of the road just a decade before the Daytona came about. I don't know which was the bigger kick in my ass, the Miura or the Daytona. I've been in both and I have to admit for me it's the Daytona. The Miura is a lot of bravado but the Daytona is just business. We were cruising along and conversing in my friends Daytona. I happened to look and saw the speedo at 70MPH and the gear lever in the third.
