F430 vs 09 LP Gallardo

    I did some search but didn't get the answer I was looking for.

    I'm seeing 08/09 f430 are comparable in price to LP 550-2 Gallardo. Both are RWD

    Anyone who has owned both have any insight? It will be my 1st supercar so don't really know what to look for... i just want one because I've always wanted one and now can afford to buy one.

    Currently in a panamera 4..

    There is unlikely to be a right answer as it is a matter of personal taste. Personally I like the looks and sound of the 430. I like Lamborghini’s but the Gallardo isn’t my favorite. The Huracan is a big step up.

    I have put 15k miles on a 430. Drives great. Sounds amazing. Fast and handles well. Looks good and have had no mechanical issues.

    Drive both. I wanted a Gallardo until I test drove one. Beautiful cars, but I found them not as engaging as the Ferrari.

    Most people here will probably say 430 and If you were to ask this question on Lamborghini talk everyone would say Gallardo. Best thing is to drive both and go with the one you like best. I can't answer specifically about an 09 but my 06 Gallardo was a blast to drive.

    Tough comparison.... very different driving styles. My comparisons of ownership are my Perf which I sold for my Speciale.
    The Bull is more of a brute driving force. Heavier handling feeling. Low growl exhaust sound.
    The Horse is more of a nimble scalpel with precise handling. Exhaust note is F1!
    Pick your style....

    I think it would be hard for anyone to say that the Gallardo has better visibility, better driver position, or is more comfortable than an F 430.

    But that's only if these things are important to you.
