Winston is now Infamous Jameis. I think his days in Tampa Bay are now numbered.
I've never seen this before. I knew his mom was blind but that was it. It will make you respect DeAndre even more.
I saw this a few months ago, good story. I respect all players that make a roster @And@ don't have legal issues off the field. Or run their mouths.. Just do your job....
Well, I'd say the Titans are still a worthy challenger to the Texans. But man, Hill is almost unstoppable.
I thought last week the Raiders played their last home game but I forgot they still had to play the Chargers in LA. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Even in their new stadium, I think the Chargers will have trouble getting traction with the L.A. fans, who will support the Rams because they're used to doing so, even if that was years ago. I think the Chargers should never have left San Diego, and I have a gut feeling that when the situation changes down there and they can get a stadium built, they'll move back to S.D.
The fans in SD are so upset they might have a problem still. The Chargers really burned that bridge when leaving. You can see right away why the Raiders (and the NFL) wanted to be in LV. If the Raiders shared the same stadium with the Rams the Rams would be the 2nd most popular team. No way that could happen given the Rams owner is paying for the stadium himself. The Chargers should have stayed in San Diego even with a crappy stadium. Its going to take 10 years to build a fan base unless they are wildly successful. In LV something like 30% of the season tickets for next year's Raider games are from people from CA, probably a good chunk from LA and San Diego. There's no way they would travel to Oakland but LV is just a 5 hour drive. The $2B stadium we are building in LV is going to be magnificent. When it comes to mega projects, LV only builds the best stuff.
Image Unavailable, Please Login New stadium on final approach to LAX. Just back from LA. Think I saw more Raiders gear than Chargers AND Rams. Chargers screwed up in moving...T
Off the grid for what may have been the Boys best game of the year. Returned in time for yesterday's clunker. [emoji30] T
Welcome back Tom. BTW, you talked about wanting to pick your picks for this week while you were gone. But you never made them!!
It all boils down to this: The nicest weather of the year is in the fall, why spend thousands on season tickets and fight the crowds when the best seat in the house is in front of your own TV . . . . I know that applies to Landover, MD.
LA and San Diego? Heck, I think a lot of them will be coming from Oakland! Those fans are rabid enough to do just that! (The sooner they can build I-11 between Reno and Las Vegas, the better!)
The Raiders TV network broadcasts their pre-season games in LA. Unfortunately the NFL won't allow that during the regular season because they are obligated to show the local teams. With 2 teams in LA now, they always get every Rams and Chargers game every weekend. I can guarantee ratings would double if they showed the Raiders instead.
