My day has finally arrived and so has my F430. It's been a long road with a Jaguars and Japanese sports cars holding my interest over the years. I did things in the right order for the most part. Settled where I wanted to live out my life, bought the house, and bought the F430 cash. I learned the market and did my research. A whole lot of research! I have had a long time to think about this purchase. I love a great 6spd, but my knee not so much after heavy race clutches and an injury when younger coming back. What would this purchase be without a little Fchat drama, right? It turns out the price really was too good to be true. Fchatters thought it was a scam from being re-listed even lower in different places. Buyers remote couldn't close the deal because of a PPI refusal by the owner and contract language. Dead beats flew out pretending to be rich shot callers only to lose interest because the wife said no. Buyers stopped responding when it came time to sign the line that is dotted. The VIN was posted here in a thread and owner sullied. So was the owner a fair bit. It turns out you can find a lot in the Internet with basic skills and much more with people skills. The phone number was real tied to a husband and wife. You can deduce the owners name and spouse from the e-mail in the ad. You can locate their business and trade. The owner is actually an Fchat member. Surprise! The owner was meticulous with it's upkeep. There were no secrets, the CarFax shows a front impact in 2008 requiring a new bumper respray. It's already been resprayed again from rock chips to make it perfect. Big whoop. Records are available from the two Florida dealerships. Only the third owner who serviced it really drove it. Came with a new spare key, a stack of Ferrari hardbound literature, fluids, old parts, and a quart of touch up paint. I flew out, drove it, bought it. It will make a fantastic driver and I'm ecstatic! Unfortunately, now I want a gated spider too; time will tell. Congratulations. Great write up. Had my 07 spider for 6 months. Pretty much drive it everyday. Get the best thumbs up at Home Depot and Costco. That front trunk is deep. Nothing better that a case of beer or two to keep the nose planted on acceleration. Enjoy. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Congrats! My first Ferrari ride was in a 430. I had high expectations and they were met and then some. Your car is beautiful.

Congrats! I'm glad someone else was a bit of a risk-taker and got a great deal. Naysayers say little with what they say.
This looks exactly like my 05 f430, except for my sear inserts was black. I too came( still has) german and japanese cars. My first ferrari, went to look at a low miles f430 and the moment they fired it up, I cant wait to give them the keys of my 997 porsche. The 430 is much more comfortable to drive than a 997. It sounds a hundred times better too. Fast forward now, I am on my sixth. Congrats.
Thank you for the kind comments all! A detail I didn't pick up until delivery was matching calipers instead of Rossa Corsa. Yeah!
Congrats! That lovely exhaust purr that I fell in love with. While it is nice as is, any plans to mod to make it more personal to you?
Congrats on your first Ferrari I’m gunning for your record of longest stay here without ever owning one.....14.5 years and counting
Simple mods for now, full clear bra, light window tint, cored out OEM headers with new brackets, and an S-Line F1 exhaust! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2355381258101930&id=1591903534449710&_ft_=mf_story_key.2355381258101930%3Atop_level_post_id.2355381258101930%3Atl_objid.2355381258101930
