    Hi,

We did the sticky interior on the recent service and some cosmetic detail work but on the mechanicals just the major was done.

I thought the major service consisted of timing belts, water pump, gaskets, seals, tune up, etc. Is this what was done?

Yes, all these items were addresses on the service, as well as detialing the engine bay and engine and repainting the valve covers.

I love the car, just wish I wasn't on the East Coast. I researched your shop and was impressed. Shipping is a big deal too.

Why is shipping a big deal? You can get a quote from Uship and it's a pretty easy process. I've shipped numerous cars over the years.

Were the valve guides done? Have maintenance history?

Agreed 100% I have bought 3 F cars- 2 from LA and one from Houston and I live in Ohio. Forget the shipping costs...its all about finding a good car and the one that checks your boxes. BTW- I used Fast Cars when I bought my 575 for the PPI. An outstanding outfit and fully integrated. Detailed, honest, etc, etc.

I know it's no big deal to ship. I never mentioned anything about the cost. The big deal is how the car survives the trip. My cousin is an independent car dealer in South Florida and he has had more than his share of disasters.

True. You just have to hire a “Reliable” transporter. No plug intended ;)

I have always had no problem with the best...... Me! I go, pickup my car and drive it. I make a road trip out of it; and always have a blast. :)

Bite the bullet, take time off and do it that way; unless the car is being acquired just to be another garage queen for a flip sale. :(

If I went to pick it up and drive it home I would need a major service when I got home.
