So let me get this straight. GB can't do squat under Mike McCarthy for years and in his first year LaFleur gets them to the NFC championship. And Jerry Jones thinks McCarthy is his guy? Duh!

And replace him with who? The fans there should be careful what they wish for.

 

It's not just the play calling, it's his whole personality that's rubbing everyone wrong. At bare minimum he needs to just be the head coach and stop dictating play calls and let the OC do his job without interference. Oh and he can stop being the GM too.

I'm not going to even think who would or wouldn't be because I couldn't tell you who's who anyway.

 

Bill O'Brien in his press conference right now is like Booger.

i thought the fake punt was good idea. youre on road and have heavy fav on the ropes so go for the knock out punch. houstons offense wasnt exactly tearing down the house. the points they had at that point were almost gifts. so im ok w him going outside the box. rather lose by trying to win rather than being afraid to lose.

 

I do agree they should fill the vacant GM spot, but that's not O'Brien's fault.

 

I actually liked it too, but why people are so opposed to it and were at the time is because BoB had already punted on a 4th and 1.

It's widely believed he's why people have been fired or left. He's hard to get along with.

 

what happened between the actual punt and fake one? did the offense stall? maybe that's when he realized their offense needed gimmicks? I don't know anything about Obrien but I would take him over my teams coach any day. adam gase, ugh
