Thanks, mate. I’m really looking forward to driving and enjoying the car for the rest of this year. I haven’t taken many proper pics of the interior yet showing the amazing work done by Dave, but the below will do for now. Soon enough I want to get the seats (I mean mainly the bolsters) and some other leather bits re-done, but I suspect I’ll need to send it to Melbourne or Sydney to get a really good job done. Beautiful car Steve, must be satisfying to get all that sorted. I bet you can’t wait to get it out in the hills!!!
It’s amazing what they can do with kits these days with a Golf wagon as a starting point.. By the way I can feel the increase in performance with the CF paddles. You’re in more trouble than the early settlers...
For sure! I’ve got the next couple of days off and three days off next week. I’ll be making the most of it. It’s a shame all you poofs live so far away (actually, no it’s not. What am I saying?) There aren’t many people I can easily meet up with for a drive.
Fantastic Steve, I’ll bet it’s even got a torch in the tool kit Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It certainly does. Not only that, but it feels far better. I’d say it’s the most significant improvement I’ve made to the car. You notice the difference on every drive. And of course I still have the original wheel tucked away for when the time comes to sell.
Great that it simply bolts on No real issues installing Steve? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
None at all. It just goes straight on. The hardest part was finding the airbag as well. A lot of wheels are advertised without it.
The seats look a different colour to the doors and dash - have they been treated with a colour? It looks to have faded a bit (back to almost original) on the edge of the thigh bolsters. Is it Magnolia?
Looks amazing Steve. If you dont mind being seen with a Giallo Modena 360 spider I am always up for a hills drive
It's a trick of the light in the pic. The only light was coming from the open garage door behind the car, so the seats are in shadow (the engine lid was up as well). The leather is actually in very good nick and the colour is consistent and as original (crema). The only issue is that the drivers seat bolster is a little crushed from some fat bastard repeatedly sitting on it years ago. Sounds great Ryan. I've got a couple of days off next week and my brother and I are planning a drive in the hills on one of them so if you're around would be great to meet up.
