Anybody experience this with their tail lights. The marks are all under the plastic. Is there anyone to take apart the tail lights and possibly clean them. It seems that is is some form of plastic delamination

The lenses are injected molded. Looks like a clear coat on the outside failing. My guess is the supplier either coated the lenses to maintain gloss on 2 nd's that came out of the mold less that perfect ofrFerrari spec'd them that way initially. IMHO

It looks like instead of polishing the lens, someone used clearcoat without proper prep....now it looks like the clear is separating from the lens.

It looks and feels like its under the plastic. If you touch it, you actually don't feel anything on the surface, its just smooth

Take the light off and inspect it. Is it oem? There are reproduction tail lights being made now for several years, due to the factory ones breaking at the mounting points. This has produced a large market for replacements. Possible this is aftermarket?

Just a wild guess. Looks like the cracking is started from a single point. If that point is close to a mounting stud, most likely is caused by over-tightening of the mounting nut.

Another wild guess. You have a leak or crack in the light fixture and liquid/soap/cleaner is getting inside the lens and spreading when you drive it creating a film on the inside of the lens. Is it only one light that has a problem?

As I said way up in the thread "I swear it looks like a piece of plastic film on the outside in this photo??"
It still looks like a plastic film.
    What if it's not?
    Man up!
Start peeling it off. If it turns out to be dried egg whites, just press it back on, and live with it. LMAO

Manila, I have a theory. Just as the lens shown above that is for sale on Ebay, your lens was purchased on Ebay and has the same plastic SHIPPING PROTECTION and whoever had the car before you replaced the lens but did not remove the protective plastic. Have you actually tried to remove it like you would clear shipping tape?
