Even as a donor car, I think it would be cheaper to buy a wrecked base 360 and buy the Cs parts that aren't destroyed on this thing.

Cheaper because you now own a wrecked restomod 360 and not a wrecked CS.

I was referring to it from a standpoint of using it as a parts car. You can get a wrecked 360 for in the 40s in better shape than that car. I don't think that the interior, door panels, tcu, wheels, mirrors, and other cs parts are worth the extra $50k.

Did you not read more towards the top randy posted some prices and there nutz
A set of mirrors is $12k
    He spent $10k interior
    Seats $10k
Front rear bumper side skirts $10k
And that's not even everything.brakes, suspension, rear hatch, carbon engin bay stuff, wheels, software list goes on it makes no sense money wise to try and make a cs clone you will loss more money on resale than fixing the crashed cs at the end of the day it's a real cs

I knew the prices were high, but was unaware the prices were that insane. My mistake. Perhaps there is money to be made or parts to get on this car, but I still don't see a worthwhile margin.

It's so crazy for parts I would love for randy to chime in and put a total number on his conversion it has to be crazy.

Yup- sadly worth more in parts than running.

My CS isn't wrecked and I feel I could sell it in pieces for more than as a whole. Kinda joking of course.

The reason CS's get totaled so easily is because the parts to fix them are so expensive. It doesn't take much damage to total a CS..... which is why there are so few of them left.

Jason— probably a reason the original clean title cs value will climb—- due to attrition.

I bet if Ferrari offered all the cs parts at low prices — the value of cs would be affected.

Perhaps.... But F40 parts are even more expensive.

The one Ferrari I've seen value get diminished due to one outrageously expensive part is the Superamerica. The roofs are becoming delaminated, they cost $80K if you can even find one. Ferrari doesn't make them anymore. Ferrari still makes CS parts but they make them as needed from what I understand.

Watch the Dog Demuro McLaren F1 Video. He's not allowed to drive it because of insurance requirements. Imagine what that thing costs to fix..

Vinwiki did a video on the maintenance for an F1 and it was truly mind boggling. Lots of items have to be replaced over relatively short periods of time even if the car isn't driven.

Jay Leno bought his 20 years ago. It’s worth $20MM now. I’d sell. Ha

CS parts and MX is peanuts compared to a lot of other rare cars.

I have been in the car business for over 30 years now, I have been negotiating almost my whole life. If I break it all down on all the money I have spent and the money I have made flipping parts. I have manage to build a 100 percent complete CS car down to every single wire harnesses all the suspension components and the all soft ware. The biggest money cost to build CS is the brake kit and the interior, mirrors bumpers, side skirts every thing else pretty much like a standard 360 . I sold my stock module wheels for 3500.00 bought. Found a new CS wheels 4800.00, sold stock bumper and side skirts 2500.00. Sold the stock seats and dash 3800.00, the old tcu for 650.00 bought new CS tcu 1495.00 from Eurospares . CS dash cluster seats center console with the button and switches door cards upper and lower dash came from the same CS 25105.00 from Neil at Eurospare. Retail price 430 carbon ceramic brake kit was 23000.00 from Exotic Recycling I talked the owner Ryan down to 14000.00 shipped. Bought the CS doors 1500.00 for both, sold stock doors to Steve at Omega Motor Sports 1500.00 he was very happy to get them. I found LH CS mirror from Poland asking price was 3500.00 contacted the seller told him I would buy pair 6500.00 His reply was he only had LH mirror. I told him he will find it very hard to sell only one and if I bought his LH I may be able to find a RH mirror, he came down 1900.00 shipped. Found RH mirror 2400.00 from Eurospares . New in the box CS F1 harness 577.00 shipped, Eurospares has one listed new at 4234.76 part number 196860 . I was very very lucky to find all factory parts not after market stuff . Paint job cost with real painted stripes six coats of clear cut and buffed 8500.00 including the cost of the materials . Painter said his cost of all the materials 3350.00 very high end paint and clear Standox. And the painter pulled every thing a part and painted in pieces . Installing all the harnesses is nightmare of a job I was quoted from 8000.00 to 12000.00 grand . I traded my 2003 Mercury Marauder for the labor cost of installing the all harnesses. I bought Marauder for 2495.00 I can buy cars for dealer cost wend you at at a dealership.

Randy can you do a total on the cost after you subtract what you sold plus purchase of the car so we know what it would cost to build one

Hey 02360spider that would may some time give me a few days see what I can do. Until then here is the start of the build, I started with 2000 360 Modenda Titanium grigio with 19587 miles clean carfax five previous owners, Clutch had 6 percent left and the fuel pumps leaking gas and the heat exchanger going bad the bumpers had been resprayed and it had 430 black wheels it had been Mickey Moused so to speak . At the time this same 360,s where bringing 60000.00 to 74000.00 grand . The at the auction hammer drop at 38500.00 cash. So I spent all the money on the service and repairs .

I sold the black 430 wheels for 3500.00 to a local here in Jacksonville and bought the module wheels for 1500.00 from used car dealer in Miami. He did not know what they where worth he took them off a 360 that he was trying to sell.. So he put aftermarket wheels to help sell his 360 . That was my second score with buying my 360
