To be honest, I’m torn between a 308qv and the 458. There’s a big price difference, but I fear I’ll miss the HP. Perhaps a super charger for the 308? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I know how you feel, 308's always tug at me as they were my boyhood dream!! I guess you could look at PP. He's had everything and what's he driving now?
Oh and I nearly forgot I think my aircon needs re-gassing, it's not working as well as it was. I have booked in with Marc mid march for a service so I might need to see you after?
They are both great cars man. I really enjoyed driving Moretti's old QV. And the 458?? Best car I have ever driven.
I love my QV to pieces, and will have it until I’m dead. But like the GTR’s power. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
That’s not helping me. I’ve driven Pat’s and I love it. It’s not powerful, but so much fun to drive. I fear I will miss having 500hp under the right foot. Having said that, Simon’s old 308 carby was a BLAST to drive as well. I’m so confused. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep, great little cars man, I'm telling ya. Definitely not underpowered, but definitely not fast either lol. But they are fast enough to have great fun in and enough fun to get you into trouble also. Just ask Moretti.
Really it’s not the price, it’s the mileage https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1994-Ferrari-512tr-Manual/OAG-AD-18442284 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
You still have the occasional use of someone else’s V12. 308’s are great to drive and look at, I did 6 GG’s in mine. Faster than a hot rod Boxer on a track too. But I think you should buy a 458. I need someone to be nearly as fast. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
You might get this for a song, cash money offer, high mileage beautiful colour and rumour has it never been tracked and very well maintained, I’d have it all day https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2012-Ferrari-458-Italia-Auto/SSE-AD-6413320 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Jodi is telling me the same thing, believe it or not. And yes, I have Jodi’s to drive when I want to scratch that ‘classic manual’ itch. We’ll have to catch up for a breakfast or lunch so we can discuss! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, I’ve been keeping an eye on it Adrian, as well as all the others. As for the klms, god knows they don’t bother me, but I wouldn’t be putting anywhere as many k’s on my next one as I don’t have as much time any more and I’ve well and truly calmed the First Ferrari Fever since then. So using horse’s logic 1 super car 1 classic car 1 track car 1 daily driver 1 ute. Check. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
