Curious if any of you folks ever attended the VIP first day event? Seems like they have a few CEOs and speakers from the industry, anything else notable beyond this?

I have plans to fly to Geneva the second week of March, but would definitely make an earlier trip if the VIP event is worth it (and if it's less crowded)!

Next week's Geneva motor show in Switzerland has definitely been CANCELLED.
No show, due to corona virus.

Whaaaaaaat???!!! f*******************ck. So what are the biggest reveals/debuts we will be missing? Will they show these cars through media instead, perhaps? I don't see 'conditions' changing anytime soon.
What's the next big show? New York International Auto Show, early April ?

    Understandable but still somewhat disappointing.

Here's hoping the Goodwood Festival of Speed doesn't get cancelled too!

Was going to head over to meet my son who is semester abroad in Rome. He just got sent home. I said no worries we will still go to Geneva show. F$&@kn cancelled. So we are going to Geneva, renting an Aston Martin Db11 Volante and driving our butts off in the Alps for a few days.

Yes I’ve heard. We are going to be doing a lot of driving over the border in France. I need to look in to their traffic laws. Maybe just price it in to the cost of the trip ;)

Nice! Chris you mind sharing which rental service you're getting the Aston from? I'll be in Geneva anyway, so might as well do the same.

Are they the country that fines you based on your net worth?
