    One of the reasons F40 along with virtually every other car in the modern era is designed for the fuel pumps not to run when the motor stops. I see that safety measure bypassed all the time by very unwise people and naturally if there is a large leak and it is still running that safety system is negated. Nothing is perfect and even a full firehouse of men and equipment cannot save every structure but it is far better than not bothering to try.

    91097 is still a very nice F40, it has been fully & regularly maintained the last 6 years by Paul B @ Ferrari Newport Beach so I am quite familiar with it.

    Fantastic, interesting to see the number sticker still there in 1989.
