Hi everyone, as you know Feb 29 is leap year and its also our Corso gathering date... so I hope to see ya'll there with your Ferrari... ( or other interesting Italian car!). All are welcome but to park with us you need to bring out your Ferrari! ( we'll make exceptions for other Italian Marques as well) ....

Streets of Buckhead between Shake Shack & American Cut Steakhouse. 10 AM to 1PM.

I just checked to make sure that the Olympic marathon trial would not interfere. It will not, as the marathon route is entirely south of I-85. But beware if you plan to leave the gathering going south on Peachtree.

Nice turnout. I would go to one of these if the Alfa in my Avatar would be allowed.

I suppose that this month's edition will be called off. We could do it only if 10 or fewer people show up and we all stand at least 6 feet apart!

This month and until further notice Corso will not happen. It just does not make sense to tempt fate. However I was thinking that perhaps we could do a Cruise from Buckhead Atlanta - do a short tour just to get out ... exercise the cars ... but not sure what the destination would be... again its the getting out of the car thing, and a lot of places are take out only... so I'm still mulling that over. any suggestions? happy to hear.

Wolf Mountain Vineyards is actually still open; they're just seating people in their cafe at tables at least six feet apart. The question is: would WE be brave enough to sit at the same table?

I went for my own drive. Social isolation at it's best.

I wound up making a 60-mile roundtrip drive to Kurt's in Duluth to bring home their special of the day, which was my favorite - Sauerbraten! Traffic on the freeways was light and I was able to make it in about 35 minutes each way. Dinner tasted great (listening to a Johann Strauss CD while I was doing it helped) and I got to let the horse prance just a little. As Steve said, it's a good way to practice social distancing while still getting out of the house.

Finally tore the old Mercedes seat apart and put the sensors on a new booster seat for the 458. Took my 4 yr old son for a great “distancing” cruise!

Is there interest from the group for a drive this Sunday? There is a group heading up for under a 200 mile drive leaving from a northern exit on GA400.

If so, I will forward our the invite to the entire club.

The email has gone out to all that were on Tom’s list from 2019. Send me a PM if you haven’t received it and I will email it to you directly. See you Sunday!

There is a 35% chance of thunderstorms on Sunday at 10-11 AM. I wouldn't take the chance.
