@Il Co-Pilota says the 720S has not 'destroyed' the Pista anywhere as you claim, and you completely ignore it and move the goalposts to P1 vs. LaF now? haha Image Unavailable, Please Login Oh yes...yes..yes. I know.
I'm sorry, I was wrong...on the 'wet track' yes - The 720S destroyed the Pista...I stand corrected God I hate myself. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fiorano lap times are by and large through a marketing lens. Still, I've already explained the context previously to you here and here and here. To bring it up again without a compelling rebuttal to my previous points represents a short memory at best, intellectually dishonesty at worse.
When will mclaren marketing learn and stop it with these dumb chatbots on fchat? They make them look even worse than the reliability and depreciation.
It was quicker on other circuits though. Also Ferrari never outfitted the LF with semi slick tyres, unlike other manufacturers.
Not entirely true. It was outfitted with PZero Corsa rubber, which is comparable to MPSC2. But no, they did not run it with R compound tyres like Trofeo R tyres, like McLaren did with the P1. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
WhAt yOu TaLKinb boUt yO??? AuTO caR iS aLl ShADe, RaRI pAId tHeM! Okay sorry, I'll grow up now. Some Autocar tests...as I said earlier - incredibly immature and foolish to 'magazine' race as weather, tires, driver skill, fuel load, car condition, hell if the person had a death wish that day - all make it part art and part science. But since our SF90 ordering Ferrari owner (*cough MacFanboi cough*) insists on making dogmatic claims, hopefully the following gives him room for pause. I think we can all agree that the SF90 will most likely be faster then the Pista? Yes? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes. I think it will be faster than the Pista - and even the 720S Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
i personally do not believe the SF90 will be faster than the Senna. Nor should it. It's probably 400 kgs heavier than the SF90 for 160 more hp. And the Senna has much more downforce. I dont know why people are comparing them. The SF90 is not a purpose built trackday car which was the raison d'etre of the Senna (Hence the name, the huge wing, the "light" weight..).
Say the SF90 is a second quicker then the Pista on this very short track, I think @Mohamed Almarzooqi will be quite sad because the Senna does it 1 second faster. Then he'll be crushed when the P1 successor comes out, and then start an argument when the LaF sequel comes out, then @noone1 will jump in and ask why you all would buy any of these?
Hi Mohamed and Elslamo allykoom, From your name I can tell you are an Arab? from gulf countries? which one? I don't know? UAE? I know a lot about your people and I love them, lots of friends etc,, I wonder how and why you ordered the SF90? I know zero Arabs who likes the SF90 !! you are the first one!!! which dealer? Al Tayer? do tell me, I'm curios that you are telling that you like it and ordered it!! CAN'T GET IT!!!
I think u should switch actually, I don't think u like the car u ordered !! Look here; at least that new 765LT looks 100000000000 times better than the car u ordered! sorry for that!, forget about the speed comparison, and all that 1 seconds or 2 seconds comparisons, that 765LT looks fantastic, I'v never heard about it until today while reading all these comments here in FCHAT!! sounds like Mclaren is doing a great job with its new cars!
What kind of rebuttal do you want? The lap times clearly aren't the actual lap times. They are extremely suspect for no reason. Well, the reason is probably that they don't accurately reflect the cars and wouldn't be good marketing. What more is there to say? It's a single track that no one else uses and the lap times are whatever Ferrari wants them to be. And just like all manufacturers, they don't bother to retest cars with latest tires because it makes the achievements look far less impressive.
I hope you're kidding, because the 720s is a ridiculously slow car on the track, the times it has achieved are far from 488 Pista and GT2 RS. Even having equivalent tires (Troffeo / Sport CUP2) the mclaren is still clumsy and much slower than the Pista on track. The 765 LT is McLaren's response to the mediocre times of the 720s, but I don't think it is much faster than the 488 or GT2 RS, and it will certainly not even approach the sf90. for what it's worth the 720s isn't a track car, people examine the lap times of it which is of course natural but it's not focused like the 765 will be. the sf90 will be much quicker than the 765 due to having 200+hp on it but the sf90 is more expensive, not released yet and not in the same bracket imo
