I've been waiting since about April of this year and contacted them twice. They don't seem too concerned about chasing down a 2 dollar part.

Wait I’m confused. Verell posted in this thread last year that these items are available through him. Now they’re not available? Also says that this item fits both 308/328 all variations. Are you looking for just the plastic nut that screws on to the back of the donut? I have both of these items off my 85 QV that I would be happy to loan you. (This is what happens when you get in a hurry, reinstall the dash before you put the plastic nut on the ignition barrel)

 

Yep, I bought a surround ring just several months ago at http://unobtainiumsupply.com/

 

It turned out that there are 2 different ignition surrounds.
1) I still supply the flatter surround used on the 308 & IIRC someone said it was also used on the early 328s.
2)The later 328s use the more donut shaped surround shown in sherrillt's picture. I'm still looking to borrow one long enough to get measurements so I can reproduce it.
