Image Unavailable, Please Login California personalized license plate for sale $5,000 OBO. “FERARRI” This plate has been owned by me for 30 years. I’m moving out of state and want someone else to enjoy this special plate. In full disclosure it is not the correct spelling. The double R is in the wrong spot. I can’t tell you how often it is that people don’t notice. I recently changed it to the Legacy design, black w/yellow letters. This plate is in perfect condition. It has not been placed on a car since I received it and the mo/yr stickers haven’t been placed on it. The buyer of these plates will receive both plates, a signed reg 17 DMV form, mo/yr stickers even though the DMV will provide new ones with the transfer. I have transferred these plates on many cars, currently it is active on a Maserati.

There is an annual fee of $40/yr. You can also change the design of the plate to a different style as well. From what I can tell the annual fee is based on the style of plate chosen. Lowest price which includes this Legacy design is $40/yr and the most expensive designs are $83/yr these typically include one of their many graphics.

If I saw these on a car, I'd assume the owner didn't know how to spell Ferrari properly.

Value can be very subjective. Nine years ago the "FERRARI" plate sold in Texas for $15k. With the time value of money and California having more Ferraris in it should bring the value over $20k. https://www.myplates.com/Auction ,

    Stay safe everyone

The typical response is "How did you get that plate" At which point I would tell them the double R is in the wrong spot. Then the typical reply is I didn't notice. I can't recall any negative comments at all. It is the 2nd best plate posible.

This transfer of the plate does NOT require a visit to the DMV. It can all be done by mail. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Audi, Aston Martin, Jaguar, BMW...nice, but Not a FeRRari. Nothing else needs to be said, I say this tongue in cheek. Nice plates!

Then again, value is in the eye of the beholder. I paid a Lot for a certain 212 area code tel # ending in 8888 .

It's hard to say what the value of any such plate is. I can say it has been fun to enjoy having a special plate that gets lots of good attention.
