Helping my brother sell his 2013 Maserati Granturismo MC Sport spider. Black on Black. Actually it looks like black pearl dark gray. Has 16,915 miles. Very clean. Asking $45,000. Thanks guys.

Hope he’s controlling the humidity with all those guitars hanging there (said the guitar dealer).

 

LOL. The garage is air controlled but humidity is around 30%. But those are my beaters. Upstairs is where the expensive guitars are. That is kept at 45%. Here are some of the nicer ones.

Last I counted I was at 220. I am at a stand still at the moment. Unless vintage, no new models gets me fired up. I think my next one will be another LP but a custom one off from the Gibson custom shop.

 

Man I bet that room smells great. Nothing like aging wooden acoustic guitars. I have 3 Collings and by far my favorite acoustic. Especially the 12 string.

Is this a GranTurismo Sport convertible, or an actual MC convertible. I can't tell the difference just by the pics.

 

Looks like a MC. Has the passenger side dash plaque...

 

You are correct. Factory MC spyder.

 

You can also tell by where the tailpipes are and the rear fascia

 

lotta exotic for the buck. Had to be a $150k range msrp. Now for $45k at age 7 and 17k miles.

Good value for "the next guy" in these Maser GT's.

(I've had a couple, so I've both benefited from, and suffered from, their depreciation curve)

I had a regular GT Spyder like 3/4 years ago. Boy was I glad I leased it. My brother was smarter and got this one second hand. Still over paid on my opinion. I think the msrp was like $170. Mine was a just a regular GT spyder and it was $149.

 

Were you glad you leased it because of the depreciation or because it required work under warranty? Had several Italian cars in my youth and I’m still scarred from the experience though I like the new Alfas.....these do sound awesome.

 

No just from the depreciation. It is maybe even worse than Land Rover. But it was pretty maintenance free for the 3 years I had her. But there is a positive side to a GT spyder. No other convertible comes close to the rear passenger leg room. Probably as good as my Drophead.

 

I DD a GT MC for almost 2 years.
its a true 4 seater. Amazing noise.

 

2 new additions yesterday.

 

I ordered a 2013 in 2012, drove for 5years. No issues what so ever except a battery, after 80,000 Km, I replace the brakes. Didn't care about depreciation. Great car for long drives. From Toronto we drove south along the east coast with a few stops for the FCA Nationals in Daytona.( The 599 was shipped before hand) On the way back we drove to Big Canoe stayed a week, then to Nashville, Kentucky etc and back home. I currently have a Quatrofolgio and am considering going back to another Maserati.
