For some time I also had simultaneously the testarossa and the 550 (funnily they were not registered in the same district, because I moved before buying the 550 and did not change the testarossa registration) - I replaced both by an almost new 575 (that cost about the sum of the prices of the 550 and testarossa at that time, depreciation was serious in these years...)

Both in Paris though... I’m surprised the 550 survived the 92;)

A '91 Diablo is on the very top of my short list. They marketed it as it was a car in need of a full refurbishment. Prob a fair deal but not stolen as I would budget $40K min in mechanical work and then add in paint, etc. you could be at $150K all in for a "higher" mile car. So few of these trade it is difficult to know what a 2+ or better car '91 trades for.

The cars may go down but maintenance won’t...

It’s too early to see any real difference. The market is frozen. You couldn’t see a car or get one inspected if you wanted to so why bother lowering prices? It’s the aftermath when it’ll happen and how much the world will have changed. I think January will be the time when we see.

Love it, Chickens are coming home to roost! There was a thread about a year or two ago where one of the lambo dealers was telling me that "Diablos will never go below 120-140 again" Better buy one or they will get so expensive some day that you won't be able to afford one. To which I vividly remember replying "I guess I'll never own one then".

Just goes to show you how detached this market has been from reality these past five or six years. If it werent' for all of the shenanigans back in 2013-2015 the market would have had a healthier upswing and less of a fall. From the looks of it these prices could even hit their lowest level in history before bouncing back again.

Depends on how long the lockdown lasts and when the recovery starts. Also if the economy snaps back or goes into depression. A lot of the banks, for example, are not reducing workforces until they know if all are needed.

Lockdown = no market at all.

It's not the lockdown. We are in a recession, there will be no snapback. It's just a matter of is this recession going to last 6 months, a year, 2 years, etc. The lockdown could end tomorrow, won't change anything.

I don’t know about that diablo, I personally only look
At the TRs. The 4miles In palm beach for 91k seemed pretty decent.
I say let’s not overreact either way. Too early to tell long term impact... ;)
