I've not seen this posted on Fchat yet. Larry's toured a 'secret' car collection in the US (not really a 'barn find' in the true sense - but that's what it's being called).

Lots of Ferraris in the video. Some genuine; some not quite so genuine...

Thanks for posting this, Ed. I enjoyed watching and look forward to seeing more from this story.

If I had a brain, like Steve Robertson or Tim Russell, I would just email the address linked below the youtube video...
Alas, I do not so here's what I came up with-
I was able to spot (4) 308s, (1) Lusso, (1) GTE, (2) Daytonas and what appears to be a kit Daytona Spyder.

    0:26
    1. 308 GTS blue
    0:36
    2. 250 GTL grey [left of frame, behind silver 911]
    3. 308 GTB '288 GTO' red
    4. 308 GTS hot rod, blue
    0:40
    5. 365 GTB/4 black(?) [to the right of Lamborghini 350 GT]
    1:51
    rear end of 3. 308 GTB '288 GTO' & 4. 308 GTS
    2:02
    6. 365 GTB/4 yellow [across from 1. 308 GTS]
    2:25
    7. 308 GTB red with aftermarket rims
    2:31
rear end of 2. Grey 250 GTL [left of frame, behind silver 911]
    3:14
    8. 250 GTE silver
    3:40
side view of 8. 250 GTE
    3:55
rear view of 4. 308 GTS
    4:53
tail end of 2. Grey 250 GTL
    front view of 'Daytona Spyder'
    5:07
side view of 5. 365 GTB/4 [again, to the right of Lamborghini 350 GT]

I also saw the ghost of a Series I 330 GT but it's probably something else. ;)

I admittedly didn't (bother to) have sound on nor watch entire thing (talk about clickbait waste of time), but based on enough I saw, here's my take or "opinion":
    A. To call something like this a "collection" is probably a serious misnomer. It does appear more like some "classic"/used car dealers "inventory" storage facility and I wouldn't be surprised if this filming was "produced" to entice marketing/sales for this long neglected lot of derelicts.
    B. If I saw someone treat (i.e. "clean", etc) my cars (resale inventory or not) the way portrayed in this (talk about faking) video, I'd probably throw the entire film crew out faster than they could erase that footage.
OTOH, as I said, I didn't watch the whole thing nor listen any...

I am under the same impression. Smart attempt of promotion and marketing?

Well, yet to seen, though there seem to be a lot of people that believe/buy into these types of (fake ?) "hypes".
I hear Interweb, Utube and "Reality"(?)tube has made them quite popular.

    A Clown Show.
From their exhaustive research(Wikipedia) they determine that Bizzarrini produced 3 P538s. These scholars failed to notice that the chassis plate is stamped Diomante 003. Does anyone know how many P538s(genuine, continuation and otherwise) exist today? I would guess 20 or 30, I personally know of one collection with 4 of them.

He keeps calling it a Noble so my guess is another replica as the GT40s and Cobra look like replicas.

I've never studied the Norwood 'GTO' makeovers (or any others).
My initial impression was that it was real but I'm not at all confident in my personal judgment on many of these cars because the video presentation (lighting etc.) is so challenging.
I did note that the car next to it was hot-rodded ala a GTO so that undermined my confidence in it.
Whatever the story- and Timo and Marcel are probably right- it will be nice to see these cars come to light and hopefully reach the hands of people who will DRIVE them.

Looks a little like one of the old Tom Meade creations, but that's just based on a quick look of the frame you posted. I haven't watched the video.

I'm assuming there are no treasures here, the owner bought bullsh*t cars and kept them in a pigsty. The "curator" has done a masterful job.

2 holes? Are you talking about the 2 screws for the sidemarker?

Edit: I've also never seen a sidemarker fitted in that area on a 288. I've seen it put in the black line itself or below that, but not above. Anyone know what car that is?

Pretty sure now it's a replica or noorwood 308 gto, no one would drill holes in a real 288 gto

US import of 288s did require DOT changes such as sidemarkers which they did not come with like the ones still in Europe. I can't find any photos of 288s with sidemarkers above the black line, but 308s have it so I will go with 308 as well. Likely wiring already was run a certain length so it was kept in that same place is my guess as to why.

Here's the old FoATL 288 that had such conversion with the drilled in sidemarker. I took this photo in 2010. License plate is tribute to Lauda's.

I could point out a few things to prove it's a real gto but that's a 288 GTO trans Bob wouldn't put a 288 trans on a replica.

On another note. Theres only one other car I've seen with an exhaust setup like that. Note the wastegate dumping to atmosphere.

I found this pic on here a while back. Some shop in Boston serviced it. Bostonsportscar.com?

    Good points, all. Thanks.
I noticed the wastegate dump also.
One of the things I was unclear about was why this car had single exhaust pipes on each side as opposed to duals.
I'm using to seeing certain things as standard and am not very well-informed when it comes to variation(s) on 288 GTOs.

    Wait, there are 2 Daytona, 1 Lusso, 1 countach, 1 lambo 350 gt, 1 Diablo, 1 250 GTE, I think I also saw a LM002, a 06 ford GT, a 288 GTO..and that's from that glancing video.

If by treasure you mean 250 LM or porsche 917, yeah..but I would not spit on a Daytona..or even a Diablo..
