Adrian, I'm sure you know the originals were Bridgestone Potenza (runflats). My friend bought a spare pair of wheels with virtually brand new tyres (can't remember what brand ) as lots of people seem to 'upgrade' wheels on these but she is very unhappy with the road ride characteristics of them and will go back to Bridgestone on all wheels. She bought the wheels and tyres cheap from the Abarth124Spider Australia group facebook page to use for track days, but she drives to the track so they don't get swapped around that often. The originals are kept for 'good'!
I get notices that cars I save are on hold quite regularly lately Chin. They are taking them off the market for the time being. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cool. Looks good with those wheels and brakes. https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/ross-brawn-s-ferrari-550-maranello---spotted/42178 Image Unavailable, Please Login
They are actually Enzo wheels and brakes, as specced by Ross Brawn. He got it new then sold it to Rod Stewart.
The I think author of the article has NFI what he is on about. Enzo wheels were never 5 hole, they were centre lock. And the calipers, they are aftermarket brembos with steel discs, not Enzo spec calipers with carbon discs. Brawn speced the car as factory standard, the current owner of the car put on the aftermarket brakes and wheels on it.
Thanks for the feedback Karen it’s greatly appreciated and yes we’ve gone for the Bridgestone tyres, it’s hard trying to talk Eth out of something once he has the bee in his bonnet Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ah, fair enough. You learn something every day. I still they look great! If the car had shields it would be almost good looking enough to own (when I turn 90)...

That’s been a while....The 355 CH just sold again for the 4th time in 2 years on car sales asking 499K...
For sale on consigment by the owner from early 2019 pending arrival of another car. Mid last year traded, along with another Ferrari to Ferrari Sydney as part of a deal to buy another car from them. Serviced by the dealer late last year ( belts and some other stuff) and when completed put on the market by Ferrari Sydney. So I believe its been sold once ( traded to the dealer ) and perhaps now sold to an end user ( or maybe just withdrawn from sale ).
