I would ring up FerrParts, or TRutlands depending on your located East/West and seriously just offer this back into the nationwide parts stream. If it were me......and I wanted to be rid of it.. I have long wished for a "Flaming FerrariCrashed in the pond" fountain, with a blackened steel skeleton at the wheel, with both gas flames piped in, as well as water jets. Like the fountain in Pat Obrien's courtyard???? So a project like that would be perfect for this item. Do you have a steel skeleton, to go with it pssiobly??
Just think of it, the gas manifold at the rear engine bay, flaming eight angled torch flares into the night..... Some smaller jet manifolds licking softer flames along the door and the dash top. Water would mostly be geysering up from the front radiator location, but some mist jets scattered along the car as steam replicas..... Lighting could change colors or be set by Seasonal considerations..... Oh projector beam headlights, just below the water line! Like on the Cigarette boat swim platforms.. Man this would be cool project...who has a pond?? My brother has one.....on the ranch.
Never I don't have television I just have vision!! But yes, that's kind of it...…. Just realized its in Oz....mad max theme park somewhere???
I'll step up and offer you $300 but you have to cover shipping. seriously though. Think it would be very cool if you could cut it so the entire side profile could be placed on a wall, sort of a life size garage art sculpture Or contact someone in your area that sells fire extinguishers/equipment or auto security systems and see if they want it for a sign? Sticking it in the air 20 feet makes everybody take notice. Still enough there to know it was a Ferrari.
Shame its in Sydney otherwise I'd get the front fender, door, rear quarter for a mural in my mancave. It would look pretty cool. Sand it back, paint it up and hang it on a wall - would look pretty cool. I'm guessing it would cost a bit to ship those sections over here @Chad Thomas ?
