My statement was for the One that posted it. He has an ad that is also a branded title. Not sure what the point is to post the copart ad in someone else’s ad.
WTF is going on with a couple of posters here? (with low number of posts). OP - GLWS. Butt for every seat and all...
simply providing a link to the original auction so people can see prior damage ( as a hand full have asked for before the repair pics and the interior)
not an ad, simply a link to the original sale..... read the few previous posts asking for all the pictures prior to the repair,... not everyone still has a link to a sale that happened 3 years ago.
It was already posted earlier in the thread when someone asked to see pics of the original damage. You posted it with no context a 2nd time which is why people are calling you out on it. OP, phenomenal car for a phenomenal price. Cant see this staying around much longer, GLWS
We apparently have a new peanut gallery here with too much time on their hands thanks in part to the Covid. Best , Kirk.
Can you give some insight as to the time elapsed between the Copart auction March 2017 and now 3 years later? Surely it didn't take that long to repair? I'm one of those folks that will be kicking myself for passing on this car....just not yet the right time for me, so please, at least give me some reason not to cry myself to sleep...thank you.
Looks like that guy in North Korea - only after he would drop 100 pounds. Yes, too much time on my hands. Styx.
As I stated in past threads The car was purchased through Copart in 2017 and the individual who purchase the car did some half assed repairs then took it back to Copart to resale I purchased the car in Oct of 2018, and then had to wait for Roseleno to do the repairs. 4 months later Roseleno was ready to start on the car, When the project was started we realized the previuse repair were half assed and we had to remove what was incorrect. One we had a correct parts list, it took another 4 months for the part to come in from Europe. One the parts arrived it too another 3 months to do all the repairs. Does this answer your questions ???
I was going to answer for you, we saw Bradan do an F12 rear fascia, and an extensive Ferrari parts list can take months to fill, and still miss one or two items needed to complete.
I still cannot believe this car hasn’t sold. With most (all?) of the depreciation removed from the cost equation, this would be the “cheapest” Ferrari ownership you could ever hope for. Gas, insurance, maintenance, repairs, registration, and opportunity cost; nothing else.
It brings to mind a conversation I once had with an adjuster, looking at some minor damage on my car: "We know how Ferrari's are driven, an incident like this is "no big deal"...your car is thirty years old, I KNOW it's hit something......somewhere!!!" I like looking thru the Shop pictures, I love my Body Shop they have one of my Ducatis now. Just hard working professionals doing their best. It's not hard at all to beat a Ferrari Factory paint job! GLWS!
Yes, completely. Thank you. Wow...4 months for parts...hope your shop wasn't charging daily storage charges while waiting!! I am an idiot for passing on this car....just the wrong timing. Drat.
I’m going to use your words against you Thank you for the kind words. Let this be a cautionary tail to any of you on the fence about when / if to buy a car. No better time than the present, buy and drive that car, ask that girl out, swing for the fences. if you are in at 80k, you both are close
A word to the low ballers. Whispers do better. A PM with a serious offer and a conversation could get the deal done 1000 times faster and more likely than a public low ball. You know better. Whistle at girls much in the street ? Same idea. You cheapen yourselves. And you insult a person trying to sell a car. A low offer with a personal call/visit or PPI investment to offset risk is a person willing to make a deal. GLWS. I will be kicking myself as well. There’s a lot of value there for the next owner.
