Thanks, Keith. Likewise. So, how do you see Eagles doing this year? I'm expecting a slight rebound for NFC East this year, but Cowboys should be competitive. I haven't been following draft, so don't know where they pick...T

 

Eagles # 21 in first round. Top 3 WR expected to be long gone by then. They are ranked something like 20 or 22 in draft pick strength this year. WR is #1, then CB, then Safety, then OT. With 3 new NFL East head coaches, I expect Eagles to win division outright.
I have the early access to Super Bowl tickets, cheapest lower level seats at Tampa (with a modest entertainment package included): $9,500. Each. Howie is not saying much. They have shown now preference or ranking for any of the top three WR...there is a # 4 guy that might fall to them. Of course, DeSean is still there but who in the world would count on him?

My wife HAS a really nice 430. Drives it everywhere; had it 6 years now I think. And Paul, we have will have been married 49 years this September, and we have a suite booked at the M.O. in Milan for the date. Yes, Milan...booked it back in January. I hope we can go.

 

I hope you can. We're booked for December, but frankly I have my doubts we will be able to do it.

 

So the NFL tried a dry run on the draft and already there was a problem. I suggest that they turn it over to the high schoolers in my town because they can manage it.

There was speculation here that he might want to play with Tom because his post playing career isn't going as well as he thought. The question was would Arians want him. Now they really have to unload OJ Howard. Apparently Bill wanted nothing to do with him.

It's great for us because getting that 4th round pick is like found money.

No, it had nothing to do with him. Gronk was beat up after 2018 season. His body just couldn't do it. After a year of not being beaten into the ground, he felt better and couple that with a not so great post player career (did anyone like his performance on Fox?). He is the ultimate football player. And he loves playing with Tommy Boy.

Although to answer your question, Bill is not unliked by his players, but he is hard to work for. Some players who left call him cheap because he wouldn't pay them what they want, but he regularly spends right up to the cap. In fact Gronk put him on the spot. The Pats only have 1 mill left on their cap and Gronk's contract owes him 10 mil.

 

I knew Gronk was going to come back somewhere when he refused to submit his retirement papers with the NFL (or NFLPA, whichever).

 

Do you think Gronk realizes that South Beach is a long way from Tampa Bay?!?
