From what I heard this morning the truck driver is unable to be interviewed atm. So we, the police or the media can't get his account. In my opinion the truck is a secondary incident. If it wasn't for the dickhead driving the Porsche the police wouldn't be there. So the truck driving into them, for whatever reason (drugs, phone, medical episode) takes a back seat. If Pusey hadn't been a **** wit no one would've been on the side of the road!! He caused the carnage!!
I can't believe he didn't offer any assistance to the dying woman if the recording is to be believed. I'm no friend of the cops but if someone is hurt then my prejudices go out the window and I would have done everything possible to help the poor woman, there is NO excuse for his behaviour

I've looked at over 3 Aussie news reports plus the tv news and none mention the truckie having drugs or paraphenalia ,given he's still in hospital,I can't see the police giving out ANY info re him.

The original report referred to the trick driver as suffering a ‘medical episode’ and if you look at the first photos there was a big (head sized) smash to the truck windscreen from the inside, low down in the right hand corner. Not where you’d expect the head to go in a straight on collision. The ice pipe news is a different spin - guess we’ll have to wait for an outcome.
A friend sent me a stupid meme on Facebook this morning (that I won't share here) that shows one of the Cops laid out on top of the Porsche. Absolutely disgusting that scumbag **** took those pics and uploaded them to his Facebook page, which of course would be saved by everyone to share around the world. I told my mate that meme he sent was ****ed and he said that it was sent to him from one of his friends, so that and maybe other photos like it will be doing the rounds for sure. I feel sorry for the victims families knowing that people out there are making a joke about their dead loved ones. Absolutely appalling behaviour!
People who circulate those photos are almost as disgraceful as the scumbag who took them. What a weak excuse from your mate - “someone sent them to me so that means I should send them on to others”. Spineless herd mentality

Just a quick clarification. Senior Constable Taylor was not asking for assistance from Pusey. By this stage she was unresponsive. She was attended to almost immediately by a passing physician who could do nothing to assist her. It's disgraceful that the press not only chose to air these grisly "details" but make them up. Totally bizarre.
I have to admit that angle did briefly cross my mind, but there's nothing I've heard that supports that at this stage. Idiot truck driver high on ice and probably texting on his phone drifting into the emergency lane and then conveniently "blacking out" after the event would seem more likely.
Not only that, but the press are NEVER held to account for their fabrications. Fake news is now normal journalism, a concerted effort is required to unearth the truth in any given situation, which sometimes takes months to emerge after the carnival has moved on to the next outrage.
