His Cobras are the best in the World, no other replica comes close, his cars are identical to originals except of higher quality and with absolutely superior craftsmanship, the bodies in particular (made by aluminum work masters at the old MIG factory in Poland who are used to work with military grade tolerances not seen at "normal" car makers)

He says some are $400k and even $1m..i would love to see what a $1m replica looks like. I love the Kirkham as they are absolutely beautiful and identical to the real thing (granted, i dont know much about the details of a real 427 vs these replicas).

While the Kirkham is a nice replica, it's not exactly like the original Shelby.

No, it is not like the original because it is much better in everything but price.

We will agree to disagree on the quality aspect. As for pricing, the market determines end values.

Larry Miller (who built Miller motorsports Park, and owned the largest shelby collection in the world at the time of his passing) was a friend of mine. He loved cars of all sorts, and he loved the Kirkham cobras; for what they were. But, to Larry, they were not cobras. When i asked him what differentiated them, he told me "it's simple; either they were THERE, or they weren't."

My eyes were turned from bikes to cars the day I did laps at MMP with Bill Murray in an original 289 cobra race car. It made all the right noises, smells, etc. That's when I knew it was time to make a switch.

David is a friend of mine..Inside information is that the next project of substance will be a 40,000 lb. block of aluminum...milled into a Cobra as a mostly single piece..including integral engine block/trans and rear diff carcasses milled within..Ellison car except no welds, screws or seams.
