i have a dilemma and i just can't seem to work it out 100%.
My choices are all over the place. The cars I have my heart set on are varied and I like them for different reasons. I want to add to my collection. I will put about 2000 miles on per year. i also anticipate holding for a while.
Actually its come down to two different makes: Mclaren and Chevrolet. Yea, I know, what?????!!!!!!
    Here are my choices:
1972 Corvette Lt-1 with a/c, one of 30 ever built. the 1972 Corvette is pretty rare and is perfect. I would classify this as a #1 concourse car.
1971 Corvette Lt-1 ZL1 one of 8 ever built. Less perfect but more rare.
2018 Mclaren 570s MSO X one of 10 ever built. the MSO X was commissioned by a Mclaren dealer to have it look much like a Gt4 with lots of carbon and special features. in the end, its a 570s
2016 Mclaren 675LT one of 500. probably the most bad ass car to come out of any Maker's studio in a long time. Has high miles, no paint work, has been tracked but looks fantastic. Lots of carbon. will come with a warranty.
which would you choose and why?

The early Corvettes are of questionable quality, at best, so I'd eliminate them from consideration. That being said, I'd go with the '18 Mclaren to get the latest levels of performance and technology that come with a newer car.

How would the pricing of a 600LT compare to the 570 you kindly provided a picture of?

I could't see out of that era Vette and would also question the build/components.

If it has to be one of the 4, the 675 is the winner for me (nice clean spec), supposed to be a great driving car, well depreciated but you would have to assume you some level acceptance of warning lights and other McIssues.

That's a 1971 ZR1, not a ZL1, I believe. If you are interested in old chevy iron, I would suggest a low mile survivor 1970 LT-1. They are out there and hold the higher 1 hp per cubic inch award 370/350.

I personally couldn’t because they all look the same and the sound isn’t my cup of tea but the price can’t be beat; it’s scuderia money for much more performance but aside the track where can u use that much speed?

At first glance, and with casual education, they do have similar shapes.
The lineups are different when you look closely

I actually asked Leno this question when I was on the show. I'll paraphrase his reply:

He wanted to be treated like royalty and they were like, take a number buddy, like everybody else.

In contrast, as he cited to me, his P1 developed an oil leak, and they took the car, rebuilt the whole thing (ask yourself, why) and charged him for an oil change.

Now I understand. And my experience is that the Lamborghini factory tour can be done by anyone. And they treat you like you are a buyer. I haven’t been able to get into Ferrari ever. Once in 2005 I was denied the night before while in Firenze. And in 2018 because my son was only 12. I’m with Leno

I did a frame off on a 1971 LS6 Corvette in 1992. Only 188 built, and had aluminum heads. It was a one owner Dallas car, and thought it warranted to rebuild. Lost my ass, but enjoyed the car. Very quick, and won my class at a musclecar event doing a 13.72 in the quarter mile. Also had a 1970 LS6 Chevelle at the time. At that time, Otis Chandler of LA was the only other dual LS6 owner around.

I had an 70 1/2 Z28 with the LT1 and it is a great motor, but once you have had mostly big blocks it's hard to go back .

I like the blue car. First, it is blue which I love for a sports car. Second, it is new-ish and that counts for a lot. Third, it has probably the best performance of the bunch. Fourth, it is blue, and a sports car.
