Hi guys, spec'ing my 812 GTS.

I was thinking either a dark blue (Pozzi or Blu Profondo Metallizzato) or a dark grigio (silverstone) with sabbia interior and the following options. I'm a big fan of the dark blues but I couldn't make it to the reveal event and haven't seen the car in person yet... so I don't know what will look better on the car. Any thoughts, especially from people who have seen the car in person? Does anyone have any pics of a grigio silverstone car with a sabbia interior? Thanks in advance!

Why are you doing racing seats on a top down roadster? I would think you want the most comfortable/adjustable seats for you and a passenger. This car isn't a track focused car at all and so why racing seats?

Im tall and the sports seats are more comfortable for me. I think they look way better than the other seat options. I had them in my spider and have them in my speciale, the best seats Ferrari offers in my opinion. Maybe the newer Daytona style CF racing seats are better but no experience with those yet.

Well I am 6'3" and I prefer the Daytona full electric seats personally including the look but I think the passenger would prefer to have a more adjustable seat and this car is one I would expect to be carrying a passenger frequently. Your call though.

I would add the Hifi stereo option if you are puting in ACP, it's worth it if you use the HD for storing the music. It doesn't sound good on bluetooth but it's better on a direct interface like the USB adapter or the HD in the car. I transferred a lot of music to the HD and it sounds great.

I agree. I’m 6’6” 255lbs and I find the carbon fiber racing seats to be ideal. I am also think they look incredible. Mine are the Daytona version (812), and I happen to think they suit the car perfectly.

Thanks! Is there an advantage to the daytona version over the regular carbon fiber seats? I like the look of both of them.

Also does anyone who has seen the car know if a dark blue or grigio would look better on it? I thought the Grigio GTS looks too light in the pics. Thanks

With the big flanks on the 812 GTS, I might go for larger painted shields. Among the darker blues, pehaps Swaters or Scozia? Dark but not too dark. Regardless, congratulations on the GTS!

Not sure if there is any advantage. For me, I just thought that the Daytona style fit my particular spec better.

^^ Super nice seats, I am 6'2 with longer legs.. so its all about seat lenght/comfort. I have the comfort seats in my 812SF coupe however in a 488 or 458 spider it needs to the racing seats or else I just don't properly fit. I used to have an R8GT spyder and I still remember the sharp pains of my left leg and back after only about 30 or 40 mins.. @Thecadster is that a Performante I see.. yummy.. trying hard not buy one!

Good eye. That’s indeed a Performante. Love that car. I give it my highest recommendation. Give in to the urge, you will not be disappointed.

Blu pozzi and sabbia is a stunning combination. I had that in my F12 with blu sterling upper and blu stitching- classy.

I also prefer the Daytona racing seats to the Daytona regulars I had in my F12.

Painted shields are a must! They just complete the car.

Thanks everyone! I really like the daytona racing seats as well!

@FCMD That is a beautiful F12! Do you have any pics of the interior? Do you still have the car?!

No I don't. Loved that car. Really classy interior.

The badges on the F12 look good, but on the 812 they look too small. My son did not want to specify the painted shields on my 812, but once he saw the car in person he just shakes his head in how perfect they are. Again, they complete the car.

Especially if you are planning on an historic and dark color. Yellow calipers, yellow tach (F12 had it also) to just subtly bring the outside in........

Some old stock photos of my car:

I absolutely love the spec. Such a beautiful car. Here are the pics for essentially a very similar 812 gts spec vs the grigio silverstone one... any thoughts? The sales rep was telling me the grigio would be easier to sell but idk, i think the blue would look amazing and match my speciale :).

As far as exterior color is concerned, you are spending close to half a million dollars, get what you want irrespective of what your dealer suggests for resale.

The full sabbia leather is really nice. When I specified my 812 I went monotone with full cuoio only I broke it up texturally using cuoio alcantera.

But the sabbia leather with just the blu upper dash in my F12 was stunning.

    My cuoio leather/alcantera:

I'm 6'5" and love the sports seats- have them in all 3 of mine. As far as you color choices opinions, my 458 is GS over sabbia, and it looks fantastic. If I had a nickel for every compliment I got on the color combination, I could buy a-whole-nother Ferrari with the money; almost any gray over sabbia is the tits.
