    Hi guys

I got my new carbon race seats from Tony here on FChat and they are awesome. Has anyone successfully gotten the dealer to provide an updated proxy file for the carbon race seats? (Car came with the Daytona style seats)

    thanks
    Curtis

Maybe make it look like the car came with the carbon seats if someone looks at factory installed options for the car? That's my guess.

There is another thread on this but basically the program that will stop the instrument cluster and every other computer from going into cardiac arrest when you take out the full power seats and put in the manual race seats.

There is a debate on weather FNA will supply these files anymore.

I would not say way off....you summed up the computer aspect.

I am curious to see how this plays out. I am surprised a tuner company such as open flash could not dive into this realm. BMW and Porsche all have aftermarket software where you can code options.

An example is you don’t have a heated steering wheel from the factory. You buy a heated wheel and install it. Now you need to let the computer know you have a heated wheel. You code that option in the module.
