Homemade Ramen. Chuck the little salt and MSG package. Add some canned veggies. A little hot Thai peanut sauce that the missus bought by accident.

Cheaper steaks tend to be thinner. So, I like to cook them fast and furious. High heat. Short time.

Tonight we did some T bone steaks we bought at Albertson's a while back and had in the freezer. They were on sale plus we got a coupon in the mail for 20% off. I'm too cheap to pass that up. Would have done the over charcoal, but it won't stop raining here. So, heated gasser up to about 500 F. Pat steaks dry. Salt. 2 min per side. Rest for 6 min. Not bad.

Served with sweet corn (meh, tasted like dent corn) and canned green beans (☹️).

This wine. I will plead ignorance. Didn't know they grew malbec in France. Not bad.

OK. Think I'm caught up! [emoji2]

Mexican oregano, tzatziki, yerba mate - that's a culinary world tour!

Was eyeing the sardines tonight as I was thinking of what to make the future dinners. Missus would never go for sardines like that unless they're well camouflaged as in a pasta sauce.

Mine for grocery store steaks, pretty thick. Had the second one tonight, looked the same as the last. So no pic. Last night was boring salad. I was going to buy a prime rib at the butcher shop, make that a Sunday thing. But I'm craving Chinese food. There is a Chinese restaurant near me, they are doing home delivery service only. Think I'll get Chinese delivered.

Nice. Just had an exam for life insurance and everything was fine. BP, weight, etc. Thought I’d picked up a few lbs but all was really good. We have a similar BP unit. It works well.

Arm cuff. Works great. We got the AC adaptor so no more batteries.

Edit... it’s an Omron unit also.

It was Americanized Chinese food as my SIL says. Not bad, but not the greatest either.
