Looking for a Ferrari 246 GTS Dino. Low miles preferred, does not need to be Flares/Chairs. Will take a great survivor or full restoration. Looking for aggressively priced car.

You can say I am talking my own book since I own a GTS, but over the last 6 to 12 months I have seen a clear separation in values and a return to the historical premium that a GTS brings over a GT. I follow the market very closely and have seen several GT sell for between 250 & 275k, but have yet to hear of a recent GTS sale for under 300. Specifically, I know of a 372k and 340k sale of good driver quality non chairs & flares E series cars. So good luck finding a bargain GTS --- unless you want a rust bucket or a car with no history, some mechanical needs, etc

NICE! MY 328 would be a nice down payment, always wanted one, still have a Ferrari add for one from NY Times years ago. LOL

Sheehan sends out advance notices to subscribers. I got one also, it's reduced and under 300k.

So are you saying that car is a rust bucket, no history or mechanical problem?

I am not going to bad mouth someone else's car - and I really do not think you can make an accurate assessment of these cars unless you see them in person. What I will say is that Skippr1999 (who is a friend of mine that I am helping locate a car) had some concerns based upon some additional photos that he had seen on the car. If he chooses to comment then so be it.

Everything could be fine and if it were me, the car is certainly attractively priced and would at least warrant a trip out to inspect it in person to alleviate any concerns.

GTS's are nice but no matter what the price difference, not to make any enemies, in my opinion, the GT is the quintessential Dino. The silhouette is emotionally perfect. A good time to buy a GT!!!

Haha. I was kinda making a joke. Another thing that would make that comment more colorful is if a 458 owner chimed in and said the OP should get a 458 instead because it’s the greatest Ferrari ever :p:D
