Replaced my cooked fuse box with the replacement from GT Car Parts. Since the troublesome white plastic connector had been pretty well toasted, it was necessary to remove all the wires and attaching clips and transfer to the new white clip, which was a bit of a pain, but worth it in the long run, I'm sure. Everything works as designed. All relays and fuses replaced with new units as well. Hopefully good for another 33 years, lol!

It's genuine I see. I got one in the same package for 30 USD/EUR at the time (4yrs back) The Dealer should still be able to get it for you :)

I finished the QA1 front suspension rebuild, renewed the front brakes, changed the engine oil and filter. Only putting 500 miles on $100 worth of oil and filter in 15 months just seems wrong. I’ll try and drive more this year. The suspension and brakes are a huge success. So much better ride and the brakes really grab hard.

Looking great! Was it an easy fit?
I have such a pedal kit in the garage but haven’t taken the time to mount it yet. Will probably be a task during the coming winter.
Are there any mounting tips and trix that you can share!? :)

Yes, it was an easy fit, took me one hour for all. Just remove the sticked rubber covers and position the aluminum parts with a screw clamp in place. Then drill two holes each using the aluminum parts as a template. The driving pedals are fixed with metric screws and nuts, just drill 1/10 mm larger. The dead pedal is fixed by self tapping screws, I used three and drilled this holes smaller than the outer diameter of the screw. Place the edge of the carpet under the dead pedal for a perfect result.

I see you have (owned) an Alfa 156 TS  A 1.8 or 2.0? Did you build in the compressor yourself?

Yes, I have had some Alfas thru the years. It was a 2.0 but I didn’t build the supercharger conversion myself. When it worked it was really nice but I had quite a few issues... Here are an incar video from a test lap with that car:

I took it to its short trip, after almost 3 weeks. I normally is every 2 weeks , it's hard to enjoy it so little to keep the mileage down. Now I have done 528 miles in 6 years

It runs perfect, at least so far. I was losing a bank of cylinders intermittently when the engine was cold. Don’t know how old my plug wires are but did not replace those.
The crank sensors literally crumbled in my hand when I removed them.
Are you asking where that part (ignition control module) is in the car or where I got them?
They came from FCP euro, Bosch 0227100200

The ignition coils came from rock auto. I think 48 bucks for each or something.

I wasn't sure what parts those were for but I was guessing the ignition coil modules. The coils plug into those correct. My coils are fresh but those modules are Original. Thinking of swapping mine out.

They have a separate plug. You have to buy some sort of thermal paste as well to put on the back of them.

Thanks again. I'll be doing some maintenance this weekend and taking a look at mine. FCP site has them in stock so maybe ordering them next. How did you confirm the cross reference to the Bosch part above and did it come with the paste?

    Thanks for asking. ,,,,,

Apparently,, my piston to liner clearance,,, was too tight.
    and,,
I got a slug of air ,, from my brake booster valve failure.
thus,, we are looking at everything.,, in the motor.
    :-/
