so it looks much much better jamie
please test: when you put the spacers on and then the intermediate plate tighten this plate with a lot of spacers ( thread is not long enough ) and 3 8 mm nuts. then the front disc has to rotate. remove the back disc to see better if not rotating then you need more spacers or thicker spacer. as I have written already here it is a question of 1/10 mm

but glad that it is like I thaught ;)

you may measuse the distance between the intermediate ring when fixed with the spacers but without the front disk an dthe flywheel. then you measure the thickness of the clutch disc. the clutch disc should be about 2-3/10 thinner than the space between the intermediate plate and the flywheel
if you use too thick spacres then the rear disc will get blocked when you pust the clutch pedal

looks good, but as I see it turns really easy.

so please measure as I have written and see that you get those 2-3 /10 mm

    too easy to turn
check how much play the disc has. so if you could move the disc front and rear between the indermediate ring and the flywheel then you have too much play. that is why I told you to measure

where the 3 small clips are press those as much as you can to the flywheel and test again rotating

    OH !
you are sure you put the front disc right direction - so flywheel side to the flywheel?

in thread 901 and 903 the rear disc is the right direction but as I remember both disc are equal and so look also in the same direction. but not sure just now. only remember at my sintermetal clutch in my competition how I installed it there

    Reassembling now.

Service manual says clutch bolts are 2.46kgm. That’s 18ftlbs. Doesn’t seem very tight.

Anyone who would believe that an 80k mile Testarossa was actually in Concours condition because it won an award at a local car show would need their head examined.

The idea of a lawsuit is laughable though.

Hopefully it's not the evaporator leaking. That will require the dash come out.

Test drive went well, I can certainly tell the difference especially when turning. Drove very smooth, with straight pipes I couldn’t hear any whining.
