Ummm, well, they didn´t always go well there, but Red Bull bought that track to get TV time so I guess they would be eager to offer it even for a monocycle race. Also being the first race of the season it will have good TV ratings for sure.

Oh the fun begins again lol - https://www.planetf1.com/news/ferrari-power-unit-saga-is-not-complete/

The saga has gone quiet in the past few months as Formula 1 has been on an extended hiatus.

Rivals, though, insists it is not yet done.

Renault team boss Cyril Abiteboul told F1-Insider: “This topic has not yet been completed.”

That’s a sentiment echoed by Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko, who is waiting for the season to begin before taking it up with Ferrari and the FIA.

Red Bull had previously threatened to protest the result of this year’s opening grand prix.

“Because of corona we unfortunately had to deal with other things,” Marko told the publication. “But that does not mean that we will not continue to work on the FIA and Ferrari matter when things go back to normal.”

McLaren race director Andreas Seidl added: “Ferrari could have done itself a favour with more transparency.”

Formula 1 will return to racing on 5 July with the Austrian GP at which time Ferrari may be forced to answer questions.

Is that because he drives A Williams, or that he drives FOR Williams ?

    https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/149940/brawn-outlines-f1EURTMs-new-grid-and-podium-procedures

Formula 1 managing director of motorsports Ross Brawn has revealed details of how grand prix weekend procedures have been adjusted to deal with COVID-19 once racing restarts in Austria next month.

The FIA, F1 and the teams have been working through all aspects of the race weekend in order to ensure compliance with new guidelines that the governing body has introduced.

Pre- and post-race ceremonies will look very different as contact between people is minimised.

"Because of the implementation of the procedures, we need to be safe and sure of the COVID-19 situation," Brawn told F1.com.

"The practises we have had in the past just can't be done. The very packed grid that was a feature of F1 racing just can't happen

"So every aspect from the time teams arrive to the time they leave has been thought through, and it's not completely finalised, but we're working with the FIA to polish it.

"The podium procedure can't happen, but we're looking at doing something on the grid after the race. One option would be to line the cars up on the track and the drivers will stand in front of cars.

"We can't present the trophies, as you can't have someone in close proximity presenting a trophy, but we have worked it out, we have plans and procedures, we're looking at how we can present it on TV."

The grid will also look very different, with a minimal number of people present and without the usual ceremonies.

"Things like the national anthem, you can't have all the drivers grouped together," said Brawn. "And you can't have our FIA Future Stars stood in front of them.

"The FIA Future Stars will still be part of the show virtually. They will have the uniforms sent to them and they'll send us videos of them with a message which we can play, so there are lots of things we can do to make it entertaining.

"The [Sunday morning] drivers' parade won't happen as we can't put 20 drivers on the back of a truck and take it round the track, so instead we will interview with each one of them in front of the garage.

"There's plenty of ways we can engage without compromising health and safety.

"I'm 100% confident that we will make it an engaging and exciting product, it will just be different. This is the new norm. How long will this carry on? We don't know, but this will be the new norm for the rest of the year for sure."

That doesn't look good for Ferrari.
The rake issue cannot be solved without a complete redesign, I guess.
Since the same chassis will be carried over in 2021, Ferrari will suffer that handicap during 2 seasons.

Thanks, it was refreshing to watch a race when real drivers won races, and not some turd in a vastly superior car, later claimed by his press to be the greatest ever...oh Ronnie, we miss you!

Two V6s welded together don't make a great F1 engine.
The last time Porsche did that was a disaster; it was at the back of a Leyton House, I believe.
Also, the V12 Aston Martin made out of 2 V6 Ford Mondeo suffers from its size and excessive weight.
