Intermittent, interesting whispers and speculation about a possible new model have me excited for this new abstract object of desire.
Until it becomes reality, or the myth is dispelled, what do we know about a new mid-rear non-icona V12?
    EV component a la SF90?
    Pricing north of SF90?
Barrier to entry beyond the price?
Styling more in line with SF90 or Roma?

A V12 mid rear engine would be the car I pay stupid money for... hybrid or no hybrid...

I put it in the worth-stupid-money category, as well
But I think an EV component would give me pause.
To my thinking, a V12 is timeless. EV has “planned obsolescence” as it’s middle name.

if you have mid engine NA V12 then who will buy SP90???
So it will be some new Testarossa? Aventador competitor?

Interesting rumors. It looks like they have 10 more new models to release over the next 4 years. I’m sure they can do something like this and I would like to see this. What I would like to see also would be Ferrari create fewer cars and fewer new models that hold value and exclusivity. I am pretty excited about all the new cars they’ve announced, but admit it’s a lot to take in. That’s said a continuation of a 512BBi would be pretty cool!

Presuming F167 has no EV, it would not be a direct competitor to SF90 which has appeal to buyers in urban areas with pending legislation restricting non-EV access to City Centers.

Want a toy for the countryside? F167
Need something to enjoy also in the city? SF90

also, if it’s 2y until F167 release (no support for this time, just speculation) the buyers of SF90 would be possibly exploring their next purchase.

Sadly, it appears that Ferrari will be doing neither
More Models and More Units is the next chapter.

Ferrari is no longer a line item under an umbrella...it is a standalone car company that needs to remain profitable. Having cars that retain or increase in value on secondary market is only possible by first jamming a few cars down the new car sales pipeline.

No , as far as I know , 812 will be substituted by a new car similar to Roma but bigger shape with a V12 in front . I don’t know if it will be just a NA V12 or hybrid due to anti pollution rules .

It will be interesting to see how that is executed.
The Roma is already similar in size to the 812, although the engine bay of the Roma certainly looks like it has space for a V12.
Based on the brand positioning of the Roma (less threatening, appealing to a new client), I would expect the 812 replacement to have significantly different styling in order to distinguish it and attempt to justify the cost difference.

I saw the Roma in person today, it was stunning in person. Pictures really don't do it justice but those rear seats so small but aleast they recline now versus straight up like the Porto/Cali etc.

The above statement is from Little Brother (V6) thread.

I agree but don't forget how similar the Roma is to the 812-based Monza! A similarly styled 812 successor might not be so far off... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Doing a Roma Spider or Barchetta could be a way to sell more Romas to guys who were $700k short on a Monza too...

It seems like they’re are a few cars before F167, like SF90 Spider, LB, Portofino facelift, 812VS, maybe a new Icona? And I’m sure Ferrari have their hands full with the SF90 and it’s delayed status. Still exciting to ponder about such a car.

Bumping this to see if anyone has new intel to share or hint.
Will there be one more NA V12 non-hybrid non-icona non-limited after the 812?
Is that the F167? Or two separate V12 releases?

No new intel, but we will be lucky to have any V12 regular production in any form post-812. Hopefully Ferrari will find a way!

I am beginning to wonder if a new 12 will be prepared for use in the new era of Modular architecture with either V12 or V-8/V6 plus or minus battery packs etc…
If they plan to make a smaller block v12, why not stick it without that EV apparatus in at least one model in order to highlight the new engine?
I am telling myself this is a possibility mainly because I would like to get a new V12 but it looks like the SF is no longer an option which leaves the GTS
