Ever think about switching to the black cavallino in the front/back, and CF shields for a bit more stealth/under-the-radar look? T
Yup. I do like that look. The CF shield does not fit like the factory yellow which is the shield hesitation. Thoughts on “Ferrari” on the trunk in black as well?
I didn't know that. I've seen a Cali with the CF shields around these parts but never looked at it super close up. Will need to do that. I've seen the black cavallino on white cars in person and it looks a bit too stark and contrasting to me for a light colored Ferrari. I like the standard rear cavallino & Ferrari script mesh nicely with lighter colors. This is my by avorio Cali. I think it's the right amount of bling without too pimping! Thanks @Chizz It's a pretty awesome color combo. My wife gets all the credit. She picked it. After 3+ years, I've not seen many color combos I like more. T
I’ve never seen that but my wife loves ciaccolato interior. The first Cali I looked at had it. Some one bought the morning I made an offer. Argento on ciaccolato. One day . Great car, man! Enjoy!
I have had my Cali T for a few weeks now and can say I am very impressed, other than wife keeps borrowing it! I think we will be using it to tour norther Spain in September as it’s so usable. Please click on the pic for a larger version.
She is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for sharing those pics. Your car almost makes me regret not getting a red one.
Hah, my wife has basically taken over my CaliT as well.I now tell her it's "her" Ferrari, and I'll just have to get another car for me.
Keep us in the loop on how that works! OK, back on topic. Cali picture. Image Unavailable, Please Login T
This is a photo of our 2013 Cali 30 at the 2019 Geneva Illinois Car Show. We are sad that it won't be held this year, but are looking forward to 2021! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Need to get off my duff and attend a car show when they are held again. Always a great opp to chat with regular folks and young kid enthusiasts. Makes you appreciate how lucky we are to own a Ferrari. Image Unavailable, Please Login This is Italian Car Fest, a couple years back. T
Thanks Tom! Yes, it's been a while because of how busy I've been with other matters but none of that diminished how much I looked forward to driving my Cali. Looks like you've been making the rounds - good for you and all of us. The FCA season up here has been severely affected as the authorities IMO are overreacting. I was originally a research immunologist and virologist when I was in academia. Anyway, driving your Cali around DFW will do wonders for you if you moderate exposure to the sun. Also appreciate how you've been keeping this thread focused... so here's another recent shot of the ol' girl, she gets thirsty the way I drive her. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry about not replying sooner ...been doing my taxes. The gas cap cover is a factory accessory from my dealer but I have also seen it for very good prices on eBay. I actually did my annual service back in March, along with some suspension tweaks. The weather was cool but driveable in early April but we then had a couple of weeks of cold weather and I didn’t actually start driving my Cali till first week of May. The road coverage for my 2 supercars is quite hefty so I only have fire and theft coverage for 6 months out of the year as the weather is undriveable for them from November through April. It’s also prudent to allow time for Spring road cleaning and filling of potholes before venturing out on long drives. FWIW, it’s now perfect driving weather this week and I am tempted to visit my favourite city park in my Cali. The authorities here have gone nuts with our lockdown so I have been trying to be discrete on my drives but I have just about had it with the foolishness so I shall enjoy my planned outing. Finally, here’s parting shot taken on a recent outing. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’ve decided to make a change and I am going add carbon shields and badge, CF wheel caps and CF Novitec vents. Still waiting on the wheel caps and vents. Image Unavailable, Please Login
