I ordered my car without “COLL” as well. However with the indentation, it almost looks like there is something missing there. I’ll have to wait until I see it in person, I can always have my clear bra guy add a matt black strip in that area. I’m thinking of just leaving it body color though.
I saw the car without the black piece and it was totally unobtrusive. No one would notice an issue. The black looked obtrusive and choppy.
So I’m still configuring my F8 I did add some options: -Carbon fiber steering wheel + LEDS -Suspension Lifter -AFS System -Passenger display -Parking camera -Front and rear Parking sensors -Memo+Electric seats And I’m still thinking about the color! I need help on this, what you guys think of Rosso Corsa with interior Crema ? Including the steering wheel on Crema? Let me know what you guys think. Can you please tell me what is “ COLL “ reference for? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
With the exception of these production line photos, I’ve yet to see a Pista or F8 with a body coloured hood collar. This and the fact that the Ferrari launch cars all had blacked out pieces tell me that the designers intended for it to be that way to achieve a visually shorter hood. It obviously comes down to personal preference but I prefer those models with the black collar.
Skip the passenger display. Colour wise, the F8 really suits Giallo Triplo Strato. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is one for sale without COLL, I think I actually like the longer hood look. I’ll make up my mind when I finally get my car.... https://www.charlottemclaren.com/2020-ferrari-f8-tributo-c-876.htm
I was thinking the about the same combo at one point, but with such a contrast, you need to consider the overall 2-tone balance. The Romans car has full leather interior, which allows the doors to switch to full Crema, also the leather upper passenger zone and parcel shelf. It’s relatively inexpensive and imo gives a classy classical look if that’s what you are wanting to achieve.
What you suggest other than Crema - black ? That’s could match the Rosso Corsa Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It’s all personal preference, seems most RC cars go with black interior. I don’t care for black, I did a full Cuoio gut.
For whatever color you choose, please keep the upper part of the glareshield in black to avoid glare on the windscreen. Then black steering wheel might be a better choice.
I didn't want black interior Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login either. Got Cuoio.
