Trying to decide on my next Ferrari. Love the look of all three. Currently have 05 F430 Coupe, as well as Maserati Gran Turismo.. 488 or F8 would basically be similar size, while the F12 would be more in line with the size of Granturismo.... Which would you choose and why ??

Depending on the criterias the choice will be different...
F12 is a V12, which should be enough to choose it; but if track use is intended its weight is a penalty (although it's still efficient and fast). 488 and F8 are very similar, the F8 has a lot of added power and is a lot more expensive, so the choice between them is mainly depending on how one values the added power (of course the F8 is globally improved, being a newer car, but the defining difference is the power).
    Ideally one should have a V8 and a V12 (AFAIC I'm working on it ;) )

    F12.

One of the most important factor in a Ferrari for me is the sound and while the 488/F8 are super cars in tech, speed, refinement, design etc, they just do not sound good at all (again IMO). The F12 is also the most beautiful front engine GT since the Daytona.

F12 because again, its a V-12. F8 cause it AWESOME and not the 488. Had one for a short time. Wasn't impressed.

Unfortunately Fiorano lap times are notoriously made up by Ferrari to support their marketing strategies, so they are mostly meaningless. This being said, I have no doubt an F12 is fast on a track, but it's not immune to the laws of physics.

Agreed, I think the 488 is faster. That said, I think the F12 can hit the 1:22.5 - just that the 488 was probably 'under' reported as 1:33.

    Just my speculation.

Another example is the 812 as fast as the Pista - OK it has 800 hp against "only" 720, but seriously...

The Fiorano lap times are all reported with marketing spin, I think the Pista is definitely faster than the 812 around the track.

F8. Probably the last full ICE mid engine Ferrari.

Beyond that Ferrari will probably get forced to jump on the mindless electric/hybrid band wagon!

And plumbed sounds issues aside; it looks gorgeous.

Would agree with most of the opinions here, F12 because of the v12.

F12 because it's a V12 and I love the parcel shelf with the leather straps.

Thanks for all the opinions! Love the look of the F12, and the size of the vehicle compared to the 488/F8 since I already have an F430. Who knows, maybe one of these days, I will hit the lotto and be able to buy one of each!

F12 if you like the driving experience. You will not get bored of it.

    488 and F8 for " WOW factor ".
