I like these more simple designs with thin spokes. But I don't like that this car has been lowered that much. The wheel wells look weird.
The wheel fairy dropped off my new MRR Wheels today (Style FS06 in Carbon Flash). Having them ceramic coated now and installing them tomorrow morning. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I just got to see Jeff's car today an early 2020 car. It is the 1st C8 I have seen in person. Wow! It is even better in person. Great build quality better than any new Ferrari. Honestly GM knocked it out of the park. The C8 will only raise the bar as the Z06 and Zr1 come online in the coming years. We have an exotic car that isn't exotic because of production numbers trading exclusivity for GM everyday reliability and painless ownership. I'm OK with that because I buy cars for me. We know about all the good stuff the DCT and horsepower. But up close the frunk and trunk are so big and usable we are talking trackday performance yet GT-like long road trip drivability. I'm very impressed.
If it all goes to plan you can see the first C8 Convertible in Oct/ Nov. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I always thought the coupe version of anything was better looking than the vert. But in pics at least the c8 vert and c8 coupe look hot in their own way like the etype couple and etype vert. I would own both! I think you are going to be very happy. In fact based on lunch conversation I bet better than your last ferrari.
Funny thing about this. Chevy doesn't offer them and so far no one in the aftermarket is supplying them that I've found. Not sure why because there are aftermarket CF wings and spoilers. I would replace them with CF.

If too much wasn't enough, then here's your salvation. The fender vents are particularly 'nice' This 'wide body' kit is available if you're interested. Just asking. https://www.corvetteforum.com/how-tos/slideshows/extensive-32-piece-c8-widebody-kit-is-a-visual-overhaul-613224?fbclid=IwAR3PFE1ZmxkWiJ1IQvY0Ev543Uyj553LuDKaTt6p53FffZcNm2WxDnhe3Aw View attachment 2962013
Why stop there? It's still missing front dive planes and a roof scoop. This has the Lambo doors, right .
Of course, the ubiquitous Lambo doors. No self respecting 'boy racer' would leave home without them. But hey, gotta love'em!
The rear duck tail spoiler is almost a hit since it draws attention away from the Camaro tail lamps. IMHO, a full-width spoiler would have been cleaner as the full body kit is rather gaudy and distracting.
Mike Furman says today Convertibles will start production the week of Aug 3rd, about 5 weeks from now. I guess the earliest anyone would get one would be early September
C8 vs Demon - Drag & Roll Race good vid, not serious, these guys are funny. Conclusion? Captain Obvious says; It's all about traction! C8 wins from stop, Demon wins from roll. Of course, on prepped drag surface, Demon would destroy C8. So what. The C8 can also corner. .
Some dealers reporting that GM has cut their 2020 allocations by 60% from what they were at the start. Orders are being moved into 2021 MY with the "idea" that prices would not increase -- at least for those who ordered a 2020 and will get a 2021. 2 colors are disappearing-- Blade silver and Long Beach red. Both being replaced with another silver and another red. Wireless Apple Carplay will be standard in 2021 and you can order Magnaride without the Z51 package in 2021 But you have to imaging losing 60% of those sales has to really hurt GM's plan on the C8.
