Well, I envision the Internet in a different way. The knowledge is there for all to share. If you really want to be private about yourself, BE private. But don't do multiple events, don't do Instagram, Facebook or all sorts of networking, virtual and real life, and then try to be private about some raw data.

And don't misunderstand me, I'm all against revealing truly private facts or data. My point, as you can infer, is it's often people themselves who air most of their facts, facts which later they wish had remained private, or even they don't realise they contributed to the spread.

103921, no real story, the first owner wanted it blue so the authorized USA Ferrari dealer painted it that color, it existed that way for a relatively short time, and then they painted it back to red. Since it's return to original color, it has been Classiche Certified, and has been the winner of a Cavallino Classic Platinum Award and also an Award for The Best F50 at the same event.

    Agreed.

Any owner has a right to be private, and there are some obvious means by which they can facilitate this.

However, they should consider that once you register and actually use a car on public roads, or take it to public events, it unavoidably becomes a matter of public interest.

A car can be classiche certified even if it is not in its original colour. The red book will then mention original ex-factory colour and current one.

First F50 I remember seeing, the color just continues to make it so memorable. Was at Ferrari Dallas back off 75 when I first saw it outside out back. Saw it again when Boardwalk opened, probably right around the time that picture taken(?), I think a 333SP was showcased near it during grand opening. I remember a sales person saying the car went out to California the next time I visited and it wasn't there. Years later on this forum was when I read Nicolas Cage had purchased it.

Such a cool car to see at my young age.

Edit* I'm sorry this isn't a great photo. I was pretty young when I took this and at the time, my dad & I didn't want to get very close without anyone around. I'll see if I can find the pics I took of it at Boardwalk.

Correct, by the time Cage had 103921 in Santa Monica, California, it was back to red.

I believe Cage owned it prior to 410SA and moved on to an Enzo after he sold the F50, it was Classiched and became a Cavallino Platinum winner after the ownership of the aforementioned.

I dropped initials and a broker here had to grandstand and drop his entire name, scum bag move on his part, and will never deal with him.

    Relax.

Perhaps said broker just wanted to inform with specificity as opposed to cause any harm or inconvenience to the party who owned the car, hardly a scum bag move by any stretch, let's dial down the aggression.

I absolutely hate the way they used the ropes/straps and fixed the car to the pallet.
