Invested an hour searching this subject, could also be that the case is too large, but I am still unsure. Maybe will have to sell the case and just buy a roll type.

There ARE two versions of the Boxer tool set box, so I would say if it does not fit you have the "Wrong" version but perhaps a swap is available??

Its the same tool kit that would fit in my 79 so it would fit your BBi too. Your plug looks like someone cobbled it together when there was a special on electrical tape. The factory uses two flag terminals (90 degree) rather than straight out like yours. Try unplugging the light and see if it clears.

The flag terminals are there, I’m the someone that put silicone tape around it . If I take the socket out it clears, but if its there it hits and the blinker pops out.

Its correct if the roll has an additional outer zipped pouch with an embossed horse on it. The zipped pouch should match the interior color.

Ferrari dropped the briefcase in 1982, it kinda fits where the briefcase was and the belt holds it down. The 400 also went from the briefcase to a pouch but very different than the boxers.
