Appears so. So Max vs LH.

Bottas has at times done well here. Albon is not the largest threat to Max.

    Well done gentlemen, much respect.

@Nembo1777 who's your pick to win this one?

    Cheers

    Yep.
The thing I like most about Red Bull is they allow their drivers to race each other on track, even if it means some collateral damage.

If Albon can get in the mix he will have a stab. He's shown some excellent race craft in his first few minutes. Better race craft than Bottas I would say.

Agreed, if Ferrari is in bad shape as they say they are, perhaps rain will help by adding some chaos factor.

I definitely sympathize and get what you're both saying. Unfortunately, how about a foolhardy driver that shreads their carbon fiber on the baguette, and that causes shrapnel to affect an unrelated different driver.

I know this may not be a popular viewpoint, but to me, the safety of drivers is something I personally think should never be compromised. I've just known too many people die or be seriously injured on the track.

I understand no objective way to say what is 'safe' - F1 is inherently dangerous.

    :(

Max, Lewis, Alex, Valterri, Charles, Seb if everything goes like clockwork, BUT I think and hope one of two midfield teams will punch above their expected weight.

I hate Max, the reason being is he crashes into Ferrari.

He'll probably pull a hat trick though...

That's like saying drivers must never hit another car because it might cause shrapnel. Maybe we just have individual time trials instead of actual racing.;)

It's called hill climb racing, the purest form of Motorsport, one man and his machine against the mountain road...and that pesky stopwatch:) They have great hill climb courses in Austria, let's do it:D!

    Exactly !
Using the argument that the baguetes may cause dangerous debris which in turn may affect other (victims) drivers is very faulty because anything that goes wrong during a race may also cause debris which may impact other drivers.
Curves can also cause driver's collisions and generate debris.....what now?
Tire failures can also generate lots of debris....very unsafe!
Let alone a wet circuit! OMG...can you imagine the dangers of racing on wet tarmac? How much Sharp composite parts could be flying around after collisions?
    Very very unsafe right?
So lets do it one car a the time, on a straight line and on good weather only ? Okay?
    Very very safe.

I certainly understand and appreciate both your thoughts, were the submarine sandwiches a new thing or have they always been there?

If painting the cars black and wearing a black BLM helmet means Ferrari would have won the world championship 5 times, happy to accommodate.
