I noticed that after I installed the Tubi on the 360 that the RPM would fall below idle after depressing the clutch when shifting. This is on a manual 360 to clarify.

It would make this kind of puttering noise as it falls under the 1k RPM to about 600-700 RPM and after a few seconds would rebound back to the 1k idle. anyone experience this? My first guess that it had to do with the vacuum lines?

Did you block off the vacuum lines to the exhaust valves/solenoids that would have been deleted as part of the Tubings install?

Going to check on that. Had an indie shop do the install.

my 2004 spider 3 pedal does this and has for years...after extensive research, tightening all grounds, clean MAF's, etc we figured it out by driving the car with Leonardo attached, and it is a glitch in the ecu. Hasn't affected anything and until I need new ecu's I am not going to worry about it. HTH

I just checked the vacuum lines and they are fine and plugged in correctly. Interesting that this only happened after I installed the tubis.

What kind of glitch ? Is there a bad connection to the ECU or is there some software error ? Why didn't this problem exist in our car for the first 7-8 years, but instead showed up later (at least in my car) ? Thanks

Not sure really, but after extensive hours researching the issue...that is what I was told by Tony in San Francisco, who is quite respected and well known as a fine Ferrari mechanic. T & R imports. Mine showed up around 25K miles..has 42K on it now.

    what I wondered is this

is the software has a bug or the ecu hardware got a glitch?

I am including for the former?
