What color is the red wall .... from which manufacturer of paint and the specific name/ color of the paint itself? Did you use a primer first and if so which?

Yes. There’s a driveway access and alley. And another garage behind where I was standing.

Benjamin Moore Exotic Red in eggshell. Just a standard white primer behind it. On my son’s wall, we did a gray primer before you trike red. This looks almost Rosso Corsa, but since our cars are not that hue, wanted a little more red and less orange. Didn’t make any difference really to put gray or white primer in this case. Almost went with “million dollar red” by Benjamin Moore, which is rather fitting!

The floor also looks amazing, I presume some sort of epoxy coating, does it have reasonable traction?

It’s a metallic epoxy in a mercury color. It has plenty of traction. I imagine a little more slick than standard, but have never had an issue. I’m told it does show scratches more easily, etc, but the overall effect is pretty neat.

We used these high end LED units, against the outside walls we ran 18 ft (two 9ft sections) along the middle we put an 6 ft and a 4ft section due to pull down stairs being in the way. The lighting units are beveled at an angle to light “each bay”. I like the results and keeps the entire ceiling free of obstructions. We put them on a motion sensor so they serve as the garage door lights as well.

The installers did it. I think they just push the product around.

I installed these lights in my new garage today. They're 2x4 units that come with a ceiling mounting kit. They're one inch thick. Very heavy and well built. More expensive than most. Not dimmable. Has a three color switch for 3k, 4k, and 5k. I liked the 4k color best. The light is surprisingly diffuse with almost no shadow. The result is a very even light everywhere in the garage.

It was kind of a trick mounting them by myself. The first one nearly killed me as the panel has to be carefully aligned with the locking tabs while raising it into position. I came up with a way to raise the panel slowly using a "Helping Hand" (or some such tool) along with an "adapter plate" I made from scraps and hot glue.

Ceiling is 10'. Getting a Mohawk lift as soon as the factory gets finished making it.

Here's a link to the product on Amazon.

Looks good. I like the vibe of the panel lights. Color adjustability is a nice feature. Mine are 5000k, but the cans are adjustable. The 4000k in the cans looks the same as the 5000k for the panels. Worked out.

Sure, got it through Etsy and asked Tyler to make it 3.5 feet, as 4 was too big and 2 feet too small.
Had looked at another option that was from Russia, but it seems to have disappeared from the site.
This took a little while to get, but I think all the kinks had been worked out. Paid $611 with shipping.

Mounting it using all 7 mounting positions looks like quite a challenge. I drilled to screws into a post holding a beam, and just used two down the center, while applying felt pads to the others to protect the wall. Just FYI...

Thanks for the advice. I assume it is pretty heavy.
