    I was going to make a comment too...;)

    But the were supposedly a dozen or so F40's that left the factory in something other than Red, I've seen one of the yellow ones. Of course some could have been repainted over the years too but overall yes of the 1300 made 99.9% of them should be red.

    Regarding the color options as I recall all the production F 40's were red with the exception of one yellow F 40 prototype, of course Marcel would know for sure.

    Most credible sources say that all F40s leaving the factory were painted red. Several were painted different colors after leaving the factory (most of these done at Pininfarina immediately after leaving the factory), including several owned by the Sultan of Brunei.

    they all left the factory red. the green one belongs to redshift75 in IG and its color is well documented.
